My Husband is recovering from getting whiplash and I was recovering from a recent workout. A friend of ours recommended this place to make us feel a little better. We don’t live in Charleston, but we were going to be in town so, so we went ahead and scheduled a suite.
Never having done this before, I was so grateful for the informative walk-through given to us by the young man that was working that morning. It was much more of a spa experience than I thought it was going to be with the scented, cold cloths, and the flavored water!
The instructions were easy to follow, and My Husband and I had a great time seeing who could stay in the cold plunge longer. ( me, it was me!) but what really blew our minds was how great we felt afterwards. I’m a skeptic so the placebo effect doesn’t really work on me. Doing two cycles of each modality within the room was really, really cool. It is very private, and there are towels, music and a TV if you’d like to watch TV. We avoided all of that. We just wanted to relax in the infrared sauna, rinse off real quick in the vitamin C, shower, and then take the cold plunge.
What really impressed me the most about this place was the cleanliness! At first glance, when reading about it, I was a little nervous that it would be kind of icky or smell like chlorine. No. This place is spotless. It looked like our sauna had never been used, and the water in the cold plunge is crystal clear. I can’t commend these folks enough for keeping that place as squeaky clean as they do.
We can’t wait to come back to Charleston for a longer stay, and make a whole week of visiting! If you have been on the fence about going here, just do it. Your body will thank you.

I loved the cold essential oil towel. I was wearing pants and when I was trying to put them back on, they got soaked because the water on the floors. so there’s a little bit of a learning curve of getting redressed after you do the sauna and the bath.
What I liked about my experience is how pleasant and attentive Bella, the receptionist, was from start to finish. She made me feel at home. I’ve never tried because I’ve been very skeptical being in the industry of medicine, health and wellness. I will admit, I ABSOLUTELY felt AMAZING once done with my full hour in my suite. I connected my Bluetooth and away I was in my own private sanctuary. I was suffering of sinusitis for a bit and immediately felt relief after my session. I also felt very energetic! Thanks so much! Love some of the staff, the cold compress offering on entry, the Bevi drink station, the offerings of make-up removers, and Deoderant. The suites are always super clean!!! The booking process is awesome and easy as a member. I wish there were more night time offerings at Vinings. Thanks for all you do to make up feel welcome!
