When I walked in the St. Matthew's KY store I received a friendly greeting which helps when you visit a store for the first time. Zoe, the sales person, asked several questions about my current shoes, running regimen and expectations. The foot scan was quite interesting and informative. Zoe provided several options and I found a great pair of shoes. Given I am training for a longer distance than I have previously run (15K), Zoe provided her insights on nutrition and thoughts for helping me perform to my best. I did purchase some nutrition gels and am amazed at how much better I feel on my long runs.
When I'm visited running stores in the past, no one has ever asked about my goals or shown interest in helping me perform - just wanted to sell me a pair of shoes and send me on my way. I had the exact opposite feeling the entire time I was in the Fleet Feet store. Highly recommend the experience.

I made an effort to come in because friends have told me the process of getting a running shoe is different than just picking one off a wall of shoes--however, my experience at fleet feet was to stand on the mat and they did measure my feet other than that there was no other impact of going to fleet feet over buying something online or at another store. i didn't find the experience to be personal or helpful to find a shoe that would enhance my running experience.
I was helped promptly by a knowledgeable associate. I have only worn my shoes at work for 4 hours and have no complaints !

first of all no one said hello to my son and I. I was told to sign in to see someone for shoes and got passed up by a person who didn't sign up. I had to ask for shoe sizes like your at payless. Once I had someone to help me they were very helpful. but we waited a long time and there were sales associates available. overall I would not recommend going to the store due to the service and minimal selection.

Heckin great service, was greeted and helped almost immediately after entering the store. Was asked questions about my activity level, had my feet digitally scanned and walking analyzed, and now I have legit one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever owned, I feel like instead of walking or running I'm gliding (except for the whole breathing heavy and sweating part)
