The instructor is great!
The program is great for kids. My son started at 3 and can now officially save himself in case of an emergency. It’s amazing how much confidence each class gives him and he looks forward to becoming a better swimmer every time we go into the water now.
Coach Jane is Excellent!
Showers...there needs to be hot water in the showers ...also some way for kids to change without being exposed to nudity
Coach and Assistant coaches are great. They give my daughter time to hone her skills and are patient with the process. My daughter loves coming to YMCA!
Our family really love the stratford BSY Swim coaches. Head coach Martha is amazing and and sixh a great coach.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Everything
The Y should accept Aetna coverage for seniors. There are many individuals in the service area on limited income who simply cannot afford the monthly fee.
I love the competition pool, the cleanliness of the facility and the friendlystaff
Everyone there is friendly.
Fantastic facilities and programs- just wish the membership for seniors could be lower.
friendly
pool
Equipment is for excersize not for sitting.
Would love if the recreation pool was warmer
Excellent staff!! Especially Denise Champaigne!! Friendly, courteous and approachable.
The facility is always clean, it's close to home and has great family friendly activities at affordable prices.
Nacho, Ms. Margarita and the morning drop of crew are also wonderful! Same for the lifeguards and staff all around are amazing!!
Hope the Startford Y gets a nice upgrade but super convenient and wonderful for the family and community!
Nice staff
Membership is high
Not much discount for senior membership
Maybe a pool only membership offering
Offers a wide variety of activities
More water classes
Not certain why the Fairfield Y charges $$ for deep water aerobics when the other surrounding Ys do not
I have seen older people struggle to step down into the pool area from the locker rooms with the heavy door.
Clean environment. Many options classes, swim exercise room. Friendly staff. I highly recommend soundview. Thank you all involved for a great job.
The staff and instructors
Allows masters swimmers to swim in for fitness and competition.
Clean, always updated, best staff!!!
Friendly staff
Activities for kids
Childcare options
Community outreach
It would be great if you had more classes for low impact. Colleen is a great instructor and her class is excellent. It is always full. Why not offer more classes or get rid of some of the other classes like the active older adult which is never filled up. There are not enough afternoon classes.
For someone who works full time it is hard to get swim time in the comp pool due to masters and the swim teams
Classes and pool
Great exercise classes, friendly members and staff, clean facility.
Though it's a group lesson, there's individual attention given to each child, and there's often a smaller group broken up with multiple coaches
