I enjoy the group fitness classes but hope you add a few more instructors and more equipment
Many classes to choice from. Friendly staff
Good variety of classes - often can just attend without reservation
2 swimming pools! A smaller warmer one for practicing in - when that is what you need
All the people that work there.

I love the Trumbull Y. Everyone is friendly, the facility is very clean and the class offerings are very diverse.

Well equipped gym . Community services-vaccines!
Better pricing
Nice clean facility. Excellent staff
It’s just expensive and often times things are broken. I just don’t know how you would fix that.
Swim lessons at the Y have been excellent for our son over several years. Coach Greg has been phenomenal in our most recent sessions. Our son has made tons of progress with him.
The very professional coaches
Great swimming lessons! The instructors are patient, friendly, and really help the kids feel confident in the water. I’ve seen steady improvement each week. Highly recommend!
Everything! I love the array of classes, the people who go there, and the staff.
I would love to see more of the teachers working individually with students. I understand there are alot of students per class, but sometimes I feel that the kids might not be able to do a certain skill, so if there could be more teacher intervention with that to help master skills, I would like to see more of that.
This is the only program I have used though so I do not know if this is possible given the number of students or if other programs are any different.
Coach Marta is great and the kids and families get along very well. The team has a great environment
My coach Nacho brings excitement and you can do it too every one he teaches and believe me we do it ! You will meet people that will also encourage you when u come .So Lets Go !
Great program and coaches
Amazing staff and very clean pool.
Miss Amanda and team are excellent.
Focus on technique for ALL the kids not just those who are the fast swimmers. It’s disheartening to see no improvement in my kids technique after years of being a member.
Director and Coach Jane Marella has really created a wonderful program for the gymnasts. She is nurturing and encouraging and fosters a positive environment where these young athletes can grow in confidence and skill.
lovely group, fantastic, encouraging, and knowledgeable coaches, great schedule (love those 5.30 am sessions!) and chance to fulfill a lifetime ambition of becoming a fit and reasonably competent swimmer. This is really a life changing experience for late middle age -- thanks SO much to all concerned!
Great coaches, families, and athletes. Excellent experience.
Very clean environment! Instructor was wonderful and very age appropriate!
The instructors are patient and kind. The kids feel safe and are excited to join the classes.

Bring back the sauna that you once had. Or install an infrared sauna which has more benefits. The equipment when the gym was downstairs was better. Most adults suffer from lower back pain restoring the back machine would be a big help. Strength training is important particularly for older adults, there should be more emphasis on that and the equipment rather than pool aerobics. Other surrounding fitness centers have sauna, hot tub, pool and the BPT YMCA had all of this and a steam room when I first retired. The Woodruff YMCA was newer and the pool was much bigger and this would be a big draw for younger families and I understand that that.
