It’s been over a month and I still do not have pictures that I ordered. No email of communication since it’s past the eta of 3 weeks. Good thing I didn’t order announcements cause it wld hv been too late to send out. She graduates in 12 days. I would have had her pictures done by someone else if I had known I wld be waiting over a month. This service sucks
Im sharing my experience regarding the recent graduation events, in hopes that it will lead to improvements for future graduates.
Starting with the pre-party celebration, there was a noticeable lack of clear direction and communication. Staff at the front area were unable to answer basic questions, such as where the professional photos were being taken. Additionally, gift bags were only distributed to the first 50 graduates, which was very disappointing — every graduate should have received one. Better communication and education for the event staff would have made a significant difference.
As for graduation day itself — it was, unfortunately, a nightmare. The excessive walking distances were unreasonable, particularly for many of us dressed formally and wearing heels. It felt as if we had to walk miles from the underground entrance to the venue. To make matters worse, there was again no communication about the logistics. This day should be about celebrating alongside family, but we were separated from our loved ones, with no easy way to reconnect.
Being forced to wait outside in the cold and rain, after investing time and money into hair, outfits, and preparations for this once-in-a-lifetime day, was incredibly disheartening. Families were scattered across different ends of the venue, and with parking lots closed, it made reaching one another nearly impossible. What should have been a joyous occasion turned into a stressful, upsetting experience.
Due to this experience, I have decided not to pursue my MBA with WGU and will instead be graduating with my MBA from Texas A&M University.
One positive note: the guest speaker, the wrestler, was excellent and brought much-needed energy and inspiration to an otherwise disappointing day.
Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I sincerely hope future ceremonies are planned with clearer communication, better logistics, and more attention to the student and family experience.
More packs with different assortments.
I’m happy with the quality of the photos, however, packing could be better. Both 8x10 photos had a crinkle in it. I noticed my pictures were only protected on one side with a thin and flimsy cardboard. I’ll have to find a way to fix this before handing out to family.
I got some dirty looks when I entered the room to take my picture, not sure what the issue was!
Fast.
The angle was terrible and lighting as well. I feel like she didn’t know how to take my photos at all. I look weird
Not charge for extra photo editing.
Professional, good experience, easy purchase process, and timely delivery.
Photo quality.
The photographers did not tell us the correct way to see our pictures. They did not let us see them when we took them to ensure they were adequate. They did not advise me that my hood had rolled up in the front exposing the zipper to my gown and my shirt underneath. I was very displeased with my pictures and because we were not able to see them for weeks there was no opportunity for me to reschedule.

Availability to have photos when you can't be there to do your own.
Good picture. Didn't even know the kid had a pic taken in his cap and gown.
The service was great! I did expect a little better quality on the paper, for the price. If the prices were not so steep, we would have liked to order another pose.
Service was great. They made me feel comfortable and gave suggestions to help with best picture outcome. The package on the other hand were pricey and couldn't make my own.
I attended the WGU event before graduation mostly for the headshots. When I was sent the link, none of my headshots were there. I contacted support and was given the email for Vicki. I emailed her and her auto response was that she was out of the country and to contact Tom. I emailed Tom who said he would look into it. He did not. I contacted him again and he said Vicki was coming back and to contact her. I did. She could not find any of my headshots. Supposedly there were some that were lost. The entire ordeal was handled very unprofessionally. There was NEVER any remorse just sorry bye. Make it better? The grad pics I did buy should have been refunded at the very least. Mostly I would like to know where my headshots are.
I wish I had a better picture taken.
Quality
Where do I start? This was the first time anyone in my family has graduated college, me being the first one I was not sure what to expect. However, the team did such a great job decorating, planning, and making me feel welcomed at the event was far beyond anything I could have ever expected. WGU grad team took every detail to heart from the alumni lanyards, to the clearly marked areas where each activity was taking place, to multiple photo op locations, and having employers onsite for interviews/information session.
My photos were lost in the system. I provided my confirmation of me having my photos taken via a screenshot of my registration/confirmation code, as well as pictures that my girl friend had taken of me getting my professional pictures taken (as proof). I never got an email with my photos, and instead had to reach out to my university bookstore to get the information of the company taking them (the grad team), then reach out to the grad team to find that my photos were lost. Somehow they ended up being found. Then I went to download my professional photos (which were advertised as free), then come to find out that they were actually SIXTY dollars for ONE photo. ONE HUNDRED dollars for THREE photos. This is OBNOXIOUS pricing. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I would have avoided wasting my time and being completely mislead and scammed, and instead went to our university career fair where professional photos are $5 a photo - realistic and reasonably priced. Thanks for the headache.
Good
Great picture and I received it quickly.
Great!
Photos were excellent! However, they arrived in a non padded envelope and got really bent and wet from the rain . Some of them were ruined ! I would love reprints of the ones that were messed up!
Great service from the staff members! They were very patient, and understanding of the importance these graduation photos have on us graduates.
Too expensive, 200 dollars for digital package? What rip-off. Taking advantage of an special occasion to nickle and dime your customers. What a shame, greedy corporation at it's finest.
Professional and Quality! Turn around time was perfect
The quality was to perfection!
