I guess I was hoping to maybe have some kind of professional sitting beside just walking across the stage and standing in front of a banner, and a chance to get family pictures and such. It would have been helpful to know we were going to have to be responsible for all those other options - especially being a winter graduation.

Take more pictures of each graduate! There was only one picture of my son after he had been hooded with his PhD standing next to his mentor and the dean and his eyes were closed so we didn’t have any pictures with all three people in the picture to pick from. The pictures of him by himself were fine and that’s what we ordered.
