because I tried to have an issue resolved with another agent and I never got a call back regarding the issue even tho I was promised a call back within 48 yours.
This occurred a few years into the housing market downturn, literally as the firm I was with at that time was closing their doors forever. One weekday afternoon during normal business hours I arrived at my office. There was no one there. The door was locked. I let myself in with my key. Many of our agents had been forced to quit the business and with far fewer agents we needed less space but the landlord refused to lower either our square footage or our rent so the company went belly up. I’d shown up that day to retrieve my last moving box from my empty office. Phone shutoff had already been scheduled. My desk phone sat on the carpet where my desk used to be. I picked up my desk phone receiver to check for a dial tone. I’m not even sure why. When I heard a dial tone, I figured I’d make a call to Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® for a quick answer to a question I had about a real estate transaction I was working on at the time. When the MORe receptionist picked up, I briefly explained the purpose of my call. In carefree tone, she happily told me I’d have to call back next week because there was no one else there. I couldn’t understand why on a weekday, during normal business hours, there was no one else there at MORe. Confused, I asked her where everyone was. She cheerfully told me they were all away on "retreat". That revelation hit me like a hammer blow. While the real estate business was dying, MORe employees whose salaries are paid by the board membership had gone frolicking off on some lighthearted company retreat. The real estate business and decades-long careers and once-thriving companies were in ruins yet MORe office personnel were all taking a weekday off from their jobs to go on retreat. It was a slap in the face to every dues-paying member that I will never forget.

The automated call i received at the time my NAR bill felt like a harassment. I don't need to receive "collection" type calls from my association. I'm glad the association have the opportunity to opt out, hopefully next time it will work.

i joined your organization 6 months ago, therefore I have not been able to take advantage of all your programs.
Educate agents on what they are selling.. you concentrate on ethics and professional standards which is great. But, 95% of the agents have no idea how to be a salesperson and understanding the product they are selling. 95% of the buyers agents see no value in the property that their client wants to buy... they just want to steal it at a low price. This upsets Sellers and makes prices decline when the rest of the market is going up nationwide. If they understood what they were selling, then they can educate their buyers on how to substanitate a good offer.
MORe is an outstanding organization. I like the professional care I receive from the staff, every time I need their services.

Phone system needs improvement. Waited on hold for long periods of time only to have someone answer and transfer me. When transferred, the line hung up. This happened 3 times. Very frustrating.
