Salem cycle is the best shop on the northshore! Where else do you have a shop around here that covers all things “bike” (this isn’t one of those shops exclusively for old roadies and full suspension weight weenies), from BMX to fixed gear? The staff are super friendly and feel more like homies with great customer relations than bicycle technicians, despite having extensive bicycle repair knowledge. The services at Salem cycle are great, as they usually don’t take eons for simple fixes and don’t charge an arm and a leg for what they do. The only bad thing about this place is trying to find parking in Salem on a Saturday afternoon!!! SC is an overall great shop and is always my go to shop for parts and repairs, and I strongly advise anyone needing help with BMX to stop on by Salem and seek out Connor- he’s a guru of all things bmx and an overall great guy. Big thanks to you guys for all the services and help over the years
Great service, staff, and ownership. The Salem (and Marblehead) Cycle teams keep me going year-round no matter what beating I put on my bikes. Every time I head away for a race, I never once worry about my bike knowing they have me set up for success!

Very easy transaction and special order item came in earlier than expected! Very clear communication (received a couple of phone calls regarding item status and ETA) and super friendly staff. I bought the shoes as a Christmas present so I was concerned that there might be an issue regarding a potential return 60+ days later. Staff assured me that there would be no problems whatsoever, even though it was a special order item. Second time buying something from Salem Cycle and will absolutely use them again in the future.
You had a Topeka pump head that was unavailable anywhere else.
My relatively small purchase was a test of reliability and service. It was successful, so I will consider Salem for future purchases.
Got the order confirmation email. Got the delivery. One minor upgrade would be so send an email saying it was shipped: when dealing with a new online retailer, you have that anxious gap between order placement and receipt of goods. A shipment confirmation would ease most folks anxiety.

We order a bike and it wasn’t quite the right fit for our son and they let him come in and try out various bikes for size
