Worked with the parts dept, total pro's..Lisa(hope i remembered here name correctly) knew exactly what i needed and then some, I was in and out with just the right stuff for my furnace-fix, which was done in an hour once home..hard to find that kind of service..I got lucky!

Friendly people; quick and efficient service
I was in a panic when I called Standard Heating. As a newer homeowner I had no idea what to do when my furnace wasn't starting properly. Everyone I spoke with was helpful and supportive and ultimately the emergency tech guy was able to tell me over the phone that I probably needed to change the batteries in my thermostat. The cost of an emergency service call averted, the next day someone came over to do a tune-up on my furnace just to double-check that all was well. I'm very grateful for the efficient, affordable and ethical service!
1. Usually, when we have something repaired (and there's a 4 hour window of time they may be coming) we get a phone call when the technician is on the way. I was caught off-guard when he pulled into the driveway and I was just putting my baby down for a nap. 2. The technician wasn't very friendly... didn't say much when he was here. 3. We were trying to determine if the Aprilaire humidifier we have that wasn't working could be fixed or if we needed a new one. He said we just needed a valve. I asked if he thought that would solve the problem and he said, "well, that's why it isn't working." So we paid the $300+ for the part and service and the humidifier doesn't seem to be working at all...

My furnace no longer makes squeeky noises when it starts up. Everything was tidy and in place.
The young man who came to my house was cutious, knowledgable and tended to business.
Standard installed my furnace without an outdoor screen. The air intake is about 2 ft off the ground, we have a wooded area in the back and more ground cover than lawn. The leaves are left on the ground cover to protect them in the winter. When the snow cover melts the winter winds sometimes whip the leaves up into the air. Our furnace was not working because leaves had plugged the air intake at the furnace.
I was told that you nolonger install screens on intake pipes because sometimes they get clogged by ice formed by the exhaust pipe.
I think you should reconsider your practices and consider that some of us have leaves that blow around in the Winter.

the men that come to service m furnace and air conditioner are helpfull & courtous I like my furnace being checked regularly for efficenc and I feel free of any radon and carbon monixide poising that could happen

It would be nice to have a specific appointment time. A 4 hour window on a working day is very expensive..

The technician who usually does our furnace and AC check ups is very pleasant and knowledgeable. He also seems to be a person of integrity.
You have the best service and servicemen in the business! We have our second furnace and air conditioner from Standard and wouldn't use any other company. Your servicemen are professional in every way. They are knowledgeable, curteous, clean and always prepared. They call to alert the homeowner they are on the way and are never late for an appointment. I know we could expect immediate emergency attention if we ever needed it. That's why it's a great idea to sign up for the annual service program. We know we are protected through the cold Minnesota winters and humid summers. Those blue booties are always welcome for the annual guaranteed three checkups!
