I received a coupon and take my son and the lady said I could not use the coupon because he’s a junior and can’t get the mvp

What made me more mad is it was rung up as mvp I showed her the coupon and then she changed it to JR and didn’t let me use it.

The cuts are solid and affordable. The stylists are very nice and easy to deal with.

What gets a little frustrating at times is the relentless cross selling. Shampoo, gel, whatever else. It's too much.

Anna, my stylist, is amazing. She not only gives a perfect cut every time, she is interested her customers as a person. I have been seeing her for years and she is the reason I keep coming back.

As you can see, I don't visit frequently - that's because I'm cheap. But when I do go for a haircut, I go exclusively to SportClips.

My stylist appeared to be laboring under her own weight.
She shuffled rather than walked.
Her clippers rattled in my ear like the plates were worn out, or a screw was loose - really.
She only ever used one hand to cut my hair - that is until she got to the top trimming part where she had no choice but to raise a second arm.
She did not offer to trim my eyebrows.
She did not offer to trim my beard.
She did not offer to add product like gel or mousse when she was finished. She just left my hair as it fell after she clipped it.
At the end, I had to ask her to trim below my neckline.
She did not apply or offer to apply any of that good-smelling powder to the back of my neck
Beyond the basics:
She did not offer me the MVP experience
She did not offer to cross-sell product.

My entire haircut took about 11 minutes.

For someone like me and waits as long as he can between haircuts, going to SportClips is an experience to which I look forward - usually. This haircut goes to the very bottom of the list - the absolute last entry - of my SportClips haircut experiences.

I wish I got her name but I didn't and I'm sorry, but that lady at TX220 really tarnished your brand. It was sad. I felt bad for you all in the back office who work so hard on the experience, and for the Logans too, who never ever envisioned something like this.

I want to tell you that this lady at TX220 was the absolute antithesis of the SportClips brand. She was far out of the realm of anything I have experienced at SportClips to date. Sloven, lazy, and barely present.

I was cordial/friendly, and I did tip her, and I will be return to SportClips. As I said, I'm a loyal fan. However, had this been my first SportClips experience, I'm not sure if I would return.

I won't go back to TX220 anytime soon. I understand that one experience does not make a relationship, and I understand that turnover is high. At some point, this lady will be gone, on her own accord or not, and it will be safe to return.

I stopped in for a MVP today. Yesica always does a nice job cutting my hair!

I really getting my hair done by May as she is so friendly and thorough. She pays attention to the details and makes you feel valued instead of a cheap “wash, rinse, and repeat” kinda thing. As long as she is cutting hair there I will continue to go there for my hair services. Thank you May!!
