I sent my 25 year old son to get a haircut on my 13 year old son. Normal cut. My 25 year old stepped outside because he was feeling sick, came back and your staff had taken back to wash his hair and gave me a $39 bill. he paid it, I wouldn't have. we have been going to sports clips for YEARS, that means our file has NO $39 cuts on it. I know your people work on commission. A 13 year old child cannot understand anything about what cut and if. a shampoo costs more. Bottom line, your staff was wrong. I hope the extra $10 was worth a client ! Had I been there, I would have walked out and not paid you $hit for pulling that scam. WRONG kinda business in a bad economy. We have the money, and own 4 local Katy businesses, we understand good business.

Love getting my hair cut there!
Took my son in, asked the lady to do exactly what she did on the customer that she had before us. Which was a high fade, with a little on top to be able to style. When my son got in the chair, he was fidgeting. I informed her he was on the spectrum, and to try to be patient.. she then proceeded to tell me what I asked for wouldn’t work, did not fade the sides at all, and gave him the worst scissor cut I’ve ever seen, and took the apron off before I was able to tell her that it could be shorter on top. The top of his head has literal waves of different lengths. I can take pictures in the morning to show you, he’s sleeping right now.
As soon as I showed any kind of dissatisfaction with her work, she tried getting me out of there as soon as she could, and my son, being autistic, was reacting to her energy. She did a great job with the customer before us, but she is definitely not okay with working with younger clients. She bombed the haircut, and tried feeding me lines to make me think that what we asked for wasn’t do-able.. when she did exactly what I asked for on the customer prior. Had she told me she wasn’t comfortable doing the cut, I would have waited for another stylist. She chose to take my money, and not even try to put any kind of pride into the 15 minutes he was in the chair,
I’ve used sports clips for years, but I honestly don’t think I’ll be going back. Especially paying almost $30 for an, at best, amateur hair cut, with well below par people/reasoning skills.. I’ll also add, the only other “stylist” in the store, was on her phone the majority of the time we were there.

Yeni is a great stylist. Always pleasant and smiling. She makes this location my go-to. Yeni is the best part of SportClips.

The stylists are well trained, personable and professional. Joining the "lineup" is somewhat of a help though making an actual reservation would be preferable. The facilities have always been clean and inviting.

Some stylists take their time, while others seem to be trying to get it over as quickly as possible. Also, the employee used to ask if I wanted my eyebrows trimmed. Now I have to ask for that. Is this a change in policy?
