I made an appointment and arrived 10 minutes later and the had give my haircut slot away after 5 minutes. Then I had to wait 34 minutes. I was very disappointed.

I don't understand how my "barber" ever got hired. I had to go to a different place immediately afterwards to get it fixed. When he was finished and asked me how it looked, I didn't want to tell him the truth and afford him the opportunity to do any more damage in an effort to fix it. I knew the best thing to do was get out of the chair. I've been to different sports clips before and had mixed results, generally positive, but nothing was ever this egregious. My rating is based on this particular barber, not Sports Clips in general. As for making it right, do not let this man continue to cut hair.
If you get a stylist that does a good job, you can set appointments to select her all the time.
We brought our two toddlers in, when was three and the other is two. The staff was very kind and very patient with them as they got their haircuts they entertain them, made them feel comfortable, complimented them on their haircut and even styled it for them and treated them like their own children. I highly recommend the sports cuts off of Lake city Parkway and South Shore. They were amazing and the haircuts turned out great.
Lottie cuts my hair the way I like it every time. She always shows me the products she uses on my hair.

The score has mostly to do with my previous negative experiences. The SportClips at Memorial in Houston is doing a great job and all the employees seem to take good care of their clients. However the location in Richmond TX is the worst place I've been too. I don't know if they've managed to improve over the last couple of years, but the last time I went there the hairdresser was the absolute worst.
I really like how well the products y'all offer work and smell compared to other name brand products. As far as service goes, I think y'all are the best that I've ever been to, and I will continue to return.
MVP is the way to go!! A nice cut just the way you like it and then the warm face towel and head massage while getting your hair shampooed is so relaxing. Thi (my stylist) is always in such a good mood, has amazing energy, and is very easy to talk to.
