I don’t normally go to sports clips, but got a free haircut coupon at a local festival. It hadn’t been to a sports clip in over a year at least. Got there and there was another person waiting in the chairs so I sat down. After 10 mins still there was no one out and working. It took another 5 mins for someone to come to the front and she had a client, she was washing his hair. No there was 6 other people waiting. Finally the two other hairdressers came out one by one. Waited over 45 mins for my turn. The hairdresser was a heavier set lady, which was fine, but she was struggling to breathe the whole time and sounded like she was snoring. She spent a total of 10 minutes on my hair hurrying through everything. Then I tried to use my coupon and she said since I had an account that it wouldn’t work. Even though it had been over a year since my last haircut. Had to pay the whole $28 for the cut which was no where near the quality for that price. I would rather wait for my great clips $9.99 hair cut coupon if I am going to get that kind of quality or just pay another $10 for a real barber who spends 30+ minutes making sure everything is perfect and will go out good. Pretty much very underwhelming.
Using their app, you can see approximate wait times, that's GREAT! You can put yourself "in line" in the app when you're on the way to get a shorter wait time, rather than just getting in line when you get to the store, that's another GREAT! The service is excellent, my haircut didn't take long and checkout is also easy. Just an excellent experience all around.

Ability to call ahead/text to "get in line" and ability to schedule with stylist of choice. She always does it just as I like and because of my "senior" status makes sure I safely get out of the chair without falling.

I was charged for an ultimate MVP, which is what I always get. This time that is not what I received. I only got one shampoo one towel and a very short back massage.
My son’s normal haircut place closed temporarily and we had a bad experience elsewhere. My husband suggested I try sportclips and I’m so glad we did. Aida did a wonderful job and fixed his cut and was very pleasant to work with! We will happily return in the future. So glad we’re going another place to get a haircut. Thank you!!!!

The service was fast, especially for a walk-in without any prior appointment. The staff was excellent, kind, and diligent as well as very informative to boot, I will surely come back to have my hair cut there again.
