I needed some basic maintenance (chain, disc pads) done on my new (May 2019) Domane SLR 6 (Project 1). Pete and Mark at the Eagan store were very helpful during the bike drop off and pick up.
Mark in particular noticed that the front disc rotor was not the optimal match for the SRAM disc/pads and may have contributed to the rapid wear that required new pads be installed (after 4,500 miles). The front wheel was replaced earlier this year after it was damaged during my Paris-Brest-Paris ride in August. Bontrager warranteed the wheel but apparently when the new wheel was prepped for installation a different rotor was installed. Mark has ordered the correct rotor, which should be installed early in the week.
I appreciate Pete and Mark's attention to detail and for resolving this issue. I ride a lot and need my bikes to be in top shape.
