I wasn’t able to complete my surgery because the air wasn’t working properly

I like the people that are performing those services. I couldn’t be happier with the staff that helped me during my c section. I am always reminded why I love Baylor Frisco when I meet with the nursing/postpartum staff.
Environment seemed more caring and interested in the patient than BSWMckinney. OR staff was extremely professional and attention to every detail was obvious. As they wheeled me in each OR person repeated my patient information aloud in turn. I’m a hesitant patient when it comes to being sedated and having procedures…yet I felt at ease and trusting as I went under anesthesia here. Afterward the care and consideration of the recovery and discharge staff was so appreciated… even including the very cordial lady who offered me a snack and juice.

The nurse did a really great job helping and describing the situation. The physician did not do as well and left me concerned that I didn't understand what to do to manage the situation upon discharge. Thankful the nurse was helpful. If it is the nurses job to do that and not the physician, then please help educate the physician to inform patients that the nurse will go over what to do and what the patient and caretaker can anticipate when discharged in terms of pain and also medication usage. I'm confident the physician is good clinically, but it's also important that patient and caretakers understand what to do when they leave so they don't end up having to return to the ER potentially unnecessarily.

Although the hospital is in an older building, the quality of care was superb. From registration through the nursing care and treatment, I was treated with respect and dignity throughout my visit. The staff was professional, courteous, and attentive. I have absolutely nothing to complain about regarding the care I received.
Check in was pretty fast. Triage was also timely. A CT was done, as well as blood work. Pain meds were given well. The blood work results were explained. Waited an hour for CT to be read by the radiologist, but the results never came. I should have received those before I left. That was very unprofessional.

From the admitting person to Kevin in pre-op, Jay as the anesthicist, Denise in the OR, Dr. Beckman, and Amy in post-op. Everyone was professional and very friendly.

I was brought in quickly. Registration was quick and easy, registration staff were friendly as was the nurse and the physician. Everything went like clockwork without delays. I liked the fact that there was a posted sign for the estimated wait time for results and such. Only difficulty we had was trying to find the emergency room as we were from out of the area.
My situation was a real emergency and the team mobilized quickly to help me. The nurse Matt was very good. All of the doctors were very engaging.
