While in their neighbourhood I went into one of Vancouver's biggest bike sellers to buy an accessory only to be told that the labour charge for instalment would be as much as the cost for the accessory. Needless to say I rode on. Back in my neighbourhood I stopped into West Point Cycles and I asked about the same accessory. Without me saying anything more, instalment was offered on the spot and at no charge. I'm won over to WPC.

Friendly staff looking to solve our problems even when there is not a big sale on tap. Two examples:
1. I bought a tube but messed up installing it so it burst when pumping it up. Sales staff asked why I was back minutes later buying a second one. When they heard the story they let me have it for cost.
2. We wanted a two-leg centre kickstand. There were none officially in stock but staff scrounged around the basement and found an unboxed one which they let us have at a discount.
