The incredible patience, friendliness and staff expertise. The accessories and trek bicycles are top quality, wear and perform much longer than all the major brands.
As a grey-haired, slightly pudgy, female cyclist, I never feel ignored or patronized at Trek, unlike many other bike stores in the city or at larger outdoor stores such as MEC. The staff are responsive, inclusive and patient.
My husband and I have purchased 3 bikes and a smart trainer over the past 18-24 months and absolutely love them. IT's been a significant investment on our part. We feel that we have received good value for our purchases with fair prices and selections that have suited our exact needs. B
In the past we've both been able to take advantage of various classes in the upstairs 'room', another perk that endears us to the shop. I was also able to take advantage of the outdoor spin classes offered by SaskiaSays in the parking lot, again a very fun perk for me. Historically I have also been able to participate in bike repair '101' classes that put Trek at the first on my list when I finally was able to purchase my newer and more expensive bikes.
