Advertised an item on the website as "in stock". After payment, I found out that it was in fact "out of stock" for the foreseeable future. Disappointment and refund requests ensued.
Staff wouldn't install the front rack for me and I felt looked down upon because my bike isn't shiny and new. Not very welcoming or helpful :(

Straight forward and upfront about issues during the sales process. If I'm going to form a on-going relationship with a service business a "soupy sales" approach will have me running for the door. Under the current conditions with a disruption in the supply chain, Sweet Pete's was up front helping keep my expectation in-check. This is the kind of store that will win my patronage.

Nothing to complain about. Everything went smoothly
Asked for a brake service, didn't happen. General tune-up did not include any kind of cleaning. $80 later the bike looks and feels exactly the same. Booked in for a certain day via email, was made to feel teh drop off was a huge inconvenience and the service could only happen next day.
Took the bike to Bike Depot down the road to get the missing brake service done next day. Perfect same-day service, cheap and efficient.

You are the "cool" bicycle shop. The place feels open with lots of space. Everything seems well chosen, like the owners evaluated the best options before selecting to carry a brand. It seems less corporate than the place down the road. Staff seem down to earth and genuinely concerned about people getting a good bicycling experience.

When I order something online please be realistic about availability. I was disappointed the item had to be ordered from the US supplier and I had to wait for delivery. If I had known this up front I would feel better about it. The store pickup experience was great, though.
Waited several weeks for my order and when I contacted you for an update it turned out nothing ever happened with my order and it was never sent out. After I contacted you the order was organized and sent out but it was disappointing that it failed in the beginning and it was up to me to make that apparent.
Delivery was so very late...
My opinion and constructive criticism/review is that the employees (sales person) at the store have to be more calm, patient and attentive when serving/attendance the public, like supportive the costumer listening them calmly and patiently. But they are all good people I know exactly how this work. But every time I go to the store, they almost always want to guess what we're going to say or something. Especially now in these pandemic times, only two people come into the store once, one attendant for each one. In my case every time I buy over the internet and I will just pick it up at the store. But I really like the store and the online service is very fast and good, congratulations! Thanks!
