I haven't looked extensively at Phat Tire's products. I purchased a bike rack which I was very pleased with.
The customer service was great - people were kind, knowledgeable, and patient. Danny was a fantastic help as I ordered a bike. I am not particularly knowledgeable about bikes and he patiently explained my options (both high and low) without ever making me feel pressured to spend more money than I wanted. When there was a mistake with my order, the company (and Danny) was quick to volunteer a solution that left me feeling valued as a customer. I would gladly buy another bike from Phat Tire.
When my bike chain broke, I was completely out of luck. I tried to attach a chain myself and ended up breaking the chain in the a irreversible way; I ended up calling 5 other bike shops. The one in owasso is closed on and on vacation and all the shops in Tulsa has waiting lists, which to me; a not very active person a bicycle repair waiting list has me questioning where all these bicycle people are at in Tulsa. I digress though to the friendly, timely and helpfulness of Phat Tire Tulsa. I called and was immediately told I was welcome to stop in. A short drive from Claremore later, Matthew helped me get my bike chain on and helped me with tips on maintaining my bicycle. Matthew was very knowledgeable and should be commended for putting aside his work load to help me. In the future it will be a pleasure loading up my bicycle and heading to Tulsa knowing I’ll receive this kind of service again. Thank you Phat Tire.

The staff is always ready to help and they are knowledgeable. Turnaround time for most repairs is very quick. The staff seems to value your business and often goes the 'extra mile' to make sure you are satisfied with the repair.

Great service and speed of the repair.
I took my bike in for repairs and the tech checked the bike out and made some suggestions on what needed to get it up to speed. He told me when it would be ready and it was. When I picked it up the tech made sure it was adjusted properly for me.

Of all the shops we visited, and bikes my son stood over, Cory was the only one to ask some questions and adjust the suspension before we test rode. It was a low pressure pleasant buying experience. Also great that Trek offers a discount to NICA riders! Wish more brands would do the same.
