Brian is a master bike fitter. I’ve done fittings in Santa Fe, NM and NYC and I prefer Brian. After two days of riding my new Trek Domane this is the first time I haven’t had to make adjustments because it was setup perfectly.
Staff at Devine St. store were very helpful and genuine. This is my third bike purchase from Outspokin Bicycles since 1999. Hopefully, in 20,000 miles I’ll be back for another.
Check the bike maintenance guy & the staff w/ him were super helpful & provided info on parks/trails for riding. I was a walk-in for maintenance & he took care of me. They also have military discount.
Brian walks the walk, or rides the ride when it comes to taking care of his customers. I've known this to be true since 2005 when we bought our first and 2nd bike.

My estimate changed three times, but I am happy with getting my bike fixed up. I brought it in to make sure the wheels were true because I have crashed a few times. They looked to be out looking at the tires. Thought that was covered because of what the sales girl told me at pos a couple years ago. Maybe my mistake for not asking more questions when I dropped it off. Service guy, Mike, said he would let me know if anything needed to be done that would cost me, in other words more than the standard tune up. So, I figured that means they would try to find something to replace. I was OK with that. Got a text to call in about an estimate. It was about 150.00 to replace some things and get a Level 2 set up, went to pick up my bike and that total was 190.00 because they replaced another part and added labor for replacing it. As the customer it seems like my price went from maybe close to 0.00, to maybe close to 150.00, to "well you agreed with that so about" 190.00. I do service work on musical instruments. This would be an angry customer at our store. Bike work might be a bit more costly but even if the estimate went from about 60.00 to 100.00 with out any communication it would be considered a mistake. Also, the printed ticket sucks. Couldn't tell what was done with out calling. Mike couldn't tell from reading it either.
