I've purchased all of my Trek bikes from you guys, as far back as 2012 and they still serve me well and you're there when I need you! Thank you for all that you do!!

Great customer service
My experience was excellent as a result of Josh's knowledge and guidance. He explained the differences in the bikes extremely well, and his recommendation was spot on. My son ended up with the perfect bike for his needs.
I must say, I've been coming to Helen's for twenty years. Started out with LATri Club, then LaGrange, and Scott and the guys at the Marina location have always been the best. They remember my name and knew me as someone who always tipped the mechanics, even if I had to return to the store another time just to be sure they got one.
It seems I've been coming to the Santa Monica store just as long and not one person there knows my name. Not one. I know Monty better than others, and I know he knows me by face, but I feel like I also know Brady, Josh, Cameron, Gil and a few others well enough that they should recognize me as well. Nope. I've been tipping the guys in the shop consistently for those 20 years as well, but I stopped going to Santa Monica prior to the pandemic because they didn't seem to know who I am, nor did the floor guys.
I feel like my loyalty to Helen's is pretty solid and that I don't require much, but I ride a lot, certainly enough to be taken seriously when I go there. I was a huge fan of Adventure 16 too, but when it went away it didn't surprise me because again, twenty years of loyalty and only one guy knew who I was. I don't tend to buy stuff from the internet if I can avoid it, and I want to buy more from Helen's, but part of the experience there is affected by this. My suggestion would be that they make more of an effort to track who the regulars are, or at least the guys who don't use other bike shops no matter what. That's me, and even though I don't think I hold it against your staff, I wish I wasn't starting over every time I walk into the store.

The salesman was friendly and allowed me to spend time test riding the bike and there was a great variety to choose from, although I was pretty sure what I was looking for. He was knowledgable and helpful. I also had some concerns about some of the components but Mike was able to address those concerns and overall I am happy with my purchase.
