This is the second time I buy a bike here, after checking out stores everywhere from the valley all the way to the OC. Something about this place makes me feel at home. The environment feels really familiar, everyone is genuinely nice and interested in helping out, whether you are purchasing something here or not. Winston was very knowledgeable and honest. He took time to share pros and cons of buying this bike (as opposed to one I had seen at a different store), I never felt pressured into buying something which is what I mainly disliked about other bike shops.

I have been bringing my bicycles to Helens for a number of years. You have excellent mechanics that do a good job. You have taken excellent care of my vintage carbon fiber Kestrel, my Specialized Alum frame mountain bike ( mostly used for shopping trips and packing up to 60lbs of stuff) my son in laws Cannondale, etc. You have a great selection of tires tubes etc.
I hope that everyone tries to be Net Zero Emission hunter gathers. Ride a bike to do all your food shopping and you will quickly lose the Covid 15 lbs.

Helen's has always been my go to store when shopping for bikes and accessories but this was my first time to buy a bike for myself! Always someone else my 1st e-bike too! The store is busy and sometimes sales people are busy but they always acknowledge your presence and let you know that they will be able to assist you when able. Helen's is also in my neighborhood so I feel good about shopping local.

Nice and professional and they actually pickup the phone unlike some other places I called in South Bay. So, Helen's got the order and they completed a great eBike brake tune-up for our Rad Runner the other day! Thank you!

It would be nice if they packaged the basic tools with the bike shipping package. Otherwise it was fast and well protected.
