The first associate that helped me, a taller white male of a larger build, a belly and salt and pepper hair, was extremely rude and not knowledgeable at all about the E bike options available. Luckily, I was handed over to another associate and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I can honestly say that if this associate didn’t Step in, I would have taken my business to another bike shop.
I like the bike I purchased but I wish I would have been offered more options in my price range. I didn't get any manuals with the bike so I had to find PDFs online. The bike seat was tilted back causing pain and the manuals didn't cover how to adjust it. I ended up figuring out how to adjust it level. These are all small things but detracted from the experience.
I can’t say enough good things about Helen’s Cycles and the incredible team there. After losing my mountain bike and gear, they went above and beyond to help me replace everything, making what could have been a frustrating process into an easy and even enjoyable experience.
From the moment I walked in, their knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for cycling were evident. They took the time to understand exactly what I needed, guiding me through options that best suited my riding style. Their customer service was exceptional—patient, thorough, and focused on finding the perfect fit for me rather than just making a sale.

I love your service department!, they are great mechanics from the Santa Monica shop. Make me feel like I’m at home always leaves my bike better than how it arrived without any of the hassles from trying to sell you anything you might not need or trying to convince you otherwise.

Wouldn’t recommend purchasing online for in store pickup. I was under the impression that it would help expedite the process but actually made it very cumbersome. I thought it would be as simple as purchasing my in stock bike and picking it up, however it wasn’t ready for pickup until a day and a half later. I wouldn’t mind the wait if the website projected the pickup time correctly but it said I’d be able to pick it up same day. Had I known there would be a wait I would’ve gone in person or ordered my bike from a closer store. The staff were very friendly.

I love that when I walk in, every employee is more than willing to help. Each staff member is knowledgable and if they don't know the answer, they'll find out. Big shout out to Cam for selling me my first bike in July 2023 and continuing to be a trusted source of knowledge and great to chat with about cycling to this day.

I brought my tires in for replacement of the tubeless tape and you guys used duct tape and did a shoddy job. It deflated overnight the first night I got it back and it made me miss my bike ride. I’m not happy and had to take it somewhere else to get done properly, so it cost me more money and time.
