The mechanics consistently do great work and they do it quickly. They explain everything and the invoice is easy to understand. I always walk away happy.

The staff were knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly.
More often than not, my experience with bicycle habitat staff is that you are unnecessarily condescending and rude, and I just don’t really know why. I want all of BH staff to know that we are in agreement — we both believe that you all know far more about bicycles than I do, which is actually why I’ve come to your store: for your help, expertise, and skill, in exchange for my money. I don’t work at a bike shop because I don’t know much about bikes at all. This has been my experience at your park slope and especially prospect heights locations over the course of years, that staff is just plain condescending and rude, and I just don’t really know what the point is. Some of the staff has been helpful without being condescending, but my negative experiences overwhelm the positive. I’ll be sticking to Dixon’s where I’ve never once experienced condescension — the workers there have actually taken time to explain to me things I don’t know, and the work is always at a much lower cost. You guys are clearly very successful, so may well decide not to take my advice to be kinder to your clientele who, like me, are humbly just seeking your help. Wishing you all the best.
The helpful staff quickly identified issues with my bike, but also I have had confidence no one was finding issues that didn't exist.

The employee understood what I wanted in a bike seat. She fitted me with one on the trainer and allowed me to go on a short test ride. Excellent service and a very good selection of products.
I really like the energy and friendliness. It was a good environment for someone who didn’t know much about bicycles. Eduardo was very helpful (even came out to ride with me round NY so I was safe when trying the bike that I was buying) and I enjoyed the conversation with Steve. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and I’ll be back for more products when needed.
It's a neighborhood shop, has plenty of sales and service staff. Has a decent selection of solid middle of the road bike brands and types. And, they don't ignore you if you don't walk in wrapped in spandex and clicking around in your bike shoes.
