I very much like the workmanship of bike habitat but I can tell you that is the honesty and integrity of the people that work there that have leg me too recommend this business to everyone I know. I have never been taken advantage of, cheated and I have always been treated respectfully. Every business should use this business as a model.
I recently had a flat changed on my Giant hybrid. The mechanic was fast, friendly and professional.

Great communication and turnaround

The people working there are always very patient and knowledgeable about their products. I know that they don't purposely recommend products that are the most expensive. They recommend the products that work the best fit for my situation. Good sense of humor and very friendly.
Whenever I have problems with my wheelchair, I have the parts shipped to Bicycle Habitat, and they take care of it.
Prices tend to be expensive and there is often a wait time for longer repairs (e.g. tune-ups)

This is the best bike shop, in my personal experience, in Brooklyn, bar none. It's not so much the quality of the service, as it is the professionalism of the staff. It's great to have a well- stocked bike shop with a crew that runs like a well-oiled machine, that know their stuff. No attitude, condescension, or being judgmental about your bike or your bike knowledge by their mechanics or sales staff, as with a lot of other local bike shops. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Unresponsive to emails and phone calls. Staff that do not communicate well, don't want to listen to negative customer feedback, and won't ask for managers to listen to feedback, so feedback is just ignored.
