Free classes!
Very well run studio with friendly efficient staff and great teachers. Studio offers a variety of yoga type classes for all levels as well as special event classes. There's something for everyone.
Classes are throughout the day everyday of the week so easy to fit my schedule.
The teachers are really good.

I enjoy the balance of yoga and meditation based classes - where the focus is not just on yoga as fitness, as many secular yoga studios provide, but the classes and teachers offer the practice of yoga from a spiritual perspective as well. It's aligned with my interest in both the physical and spiritual aspects of my own practice I'm developing.
I also enjoy the intimate class sizes and the spaces to practice.
Because highland park is such a tight knit community I kind of wish there was a way to be social with the students and teachers. Everyone comes and quickly leaves after, where I feel like we just had this amazing experience together and should spend some time to bask in it.

I love the studio!!! Amazing teachers who put a lot of thought into their sequencing. So grateful for the tea and nice non competitive vibe. Would love to see teachers end right on time so I can depend on coming to early classes and get to work on time. Usually teachers are pretty punctual but I definitely appreciate them starting and ending on time. Also would loveeeee more hands on adjustments during any and all classes. And more yin classes with adjustments from teachers. Maybe a dancer-yoga class? Teachers play such good music too! Thank you for this studio I love it so much.

What I like best about NHP is the friendliness of the staff and the warm, welcoming environment they create. The classes by Sandra and Michelle have also been very good.
The beautiful narration of the yoga class I took from Steve. The tea at the end was very nice as well.
As a beginning yogi, Namaste is the only studio I feel truly comfortable at. I don't feel like I'm in a competition; instead I feel nurtured and welcomed as part of the community. It's truly my urban oasis in northeast Los Angeles! Thanks, Namaste, for allowing me to listen to what my mind and spirit requires each and every time I attend a class. Of the many convenient and diverse offerings, my favorites are the Yin, Medidation, Candlelight, and Hatha classes. See you on the mat!
