Of all the studios I've been to, I like Namaste the best.
More hatha, more hands on adjustments, massage, yin-yang classes, more inversion practice, chicory tea! Love the art. Love how prepared the teachers are. Would love to see a dance/movement class!!!!
I like the efficiency and straight forward check in process. I love having an hour long class starting after 5pm. The teacher I had was truly exceptional.

Love the diverse instruction styles of the staff, and a really accepting environment (sometimes studios in LA can feel intimidating and yuppie). I also feel like the instructors are really perceptive and attuned to the needs of their students, including injuries, practice preferences, etc.

Manduka studio mats, that's pretty rare. The mindful Hatha yoga vibe was also very much appreciated.

Well organized and friendly studio. Classes start and end on time, and almost never cancel. Facilities are good and the atmosphere is positive. Many class offerings over a wide time range. Appropriate emphasis on health and well being.
I like the community less expensive class.

Starting a yoga practice and finding the right instructors and studio can be overwhelming. At Namaste I felt comfortable from day 1 as a novice yogini and have been supported by every instructor as my practice continues to evolve. Thank you so much for being a wonderful part of the evolving Highland Park community.
Location is excellent. Classes and longer classes at times I love to practice. Also enjoy rotating art exhibits.

Classes are very personalized and instructors do a good job of interacting with students individually assisting our needs when necessary.

Love everyone at the studio. There are a lot of classes, and I've found classes/teachers that I think are great. The studio has been extremely accommodating—I appreciated the call I got a day or two before my 3 week trial ended, for example, to let me know that if I wanted to become a member for a discounted price, I should do so before my trial ended. I also appreciated all the help and accommodation I got when I needed to put my membership on hold. In general, the fact that everyone working at the studio is friendly and sweet (know my name, for example), is great. The small details, like cups of water, are nice. And by far one of my favorite things is the physical atmosphere of the place. The main room is so nice to walk into and take class in (and the back room too), the lighting is great. The physical atmosphere makes a big difference for me. And I guess I should mention explicitly that I love the couple teachers I found who really fit my style and whose classes I now come to regularly. Thanks ya'll, I am very happy to have you around, and if I were ever to leave Highland Park I'd miss the studio.
I have had the pleasure of joining classes at Namaste a few times when visiting LA from Denmark. Namaste holds many of the essential qualities when I am practicing yoga; especially very talented teachers and the atmosphere of the place itself. I would, without doubt, join Namaste if I lived in LA.

the tea at the end is a nice perk! let new members know that there are wipes to clean off mats after class. i started rolling mine up until I saw everyone else cleaning theirs. An easy fix on my end, but the heads up that there are wipes to do this would be great for newbies :)

Friendly people, nice space, not super hyped atmosphere.
The teachers are great, the space is very clean and comfortable. Everybody is friendly and nice. Easy to find parking along the street. Amount of people in the class is perfect, not crowded . Very happy I found this yoga studio!
