Some of the biggest and best bone-in wings I’ve ever had and I used to own a wing restaurant! The service is also top-notch!
I am just going to be honest:
I like ECW. Been going to the Country Club location for years. Even had a work party at the one in Clemmons.
Frankly, this is not the first bad experience I have had here. The one in Mocksville is just awful. No pitchers of beer anymore. The wait is terrible. On Wednesday 8/20 - our food took about 40 minutes to get to the table. Some friends of ours and realtor in the area just got up and left without eating. Food never arrived. They came 5 minutes after we did, ordered promptly, never got their food... The excuse was a "party table of 35". Even though you now stay open till 9 (used to be 8), I won't be coming back. I will drive the extra miles to Clemmons or WS.
So, when someone asks how is ECW? I will say great, just don't go to the one in Mocksville.

Price points are a bit high. Kitchen tends to mess up orders. First order had wrong sauce that kids wouldn't eat. Had to wait for the correct order to be made
Ordered a steak Philly and garden salad for pickup. Took over 40 minutes and they forgot the thousand island dressing for the salad.

Unfortunately ECW has become overpriced, as for the quality it is not the same. The wings are not cooked properly. The few times that we do order is when there is a promotion happening. The quality has went down hill over the past few years, wings lack enough sauce and if you do want enough sauce to cover the wings now you have to pay for extra sauce. The last visit the chicken had an odd taste to it on the inside like it was spoiled. We may return, but the quality of food/ handling and prepping of food, and efficiency needs to be addressed first at this location. This used to be a great place we went every weekend. Not sure what happened.
