Basically your products work well until they don't. I had in my home for many years whatever I still have at this writing. The items are to be replaced. Everything plugged up with hardened salt in lines and water in base of one of the two tall plastic? canisters. No idea what is what, or what ails what, but eventually everything will be replaced with new. I hope to have once again, in-house clear-water eventually, at a price I am sure, but worth it to have clear water in the house. I can't complain. Customer service people very nice; workmen also very nice. Things seemed A-Ok until this giant, to my mind, breakdown occurred. Old age affects plastic as well as people. Do not share my comments or name publicly for any reason. Name removed

I’ve had soft water service from Culligan for over 40 years. I live in a “hard water” community. Using solar salt in my water softener has eliminated the presence of lime scale buildup on all kitchen and bathroom fixtures.
Price and have what I like
Well with my setup it requires no electricity no salt bags and I can bypass it any time to water my plants outside. It requires me no additional work maintenance to maintain my whole home water softening system. I’ve had it 23 years and counting in addition if I do have any problems their customer service response quickly and I see a technician two times a month Eric who brings the cylinder that hooks up to my loop in my garage twice a month this also stops the calcium buildup both in my pipes on my water faucets in my shower and in my appliances, such as my new tankless hot water heater, which is recommended to have some sort of whole home water softening system to extend the longevity of my tankless hot water heater, which has a warranty of 15 years. I’m very happy with my set up.
