The technician arrived as expected and called on me to report that the unit had not been using salt. He checked that it was plugged in; it was, so he and I determined that the electrical outlet was not working.
I had an electrician in two days later and we solved the problem.
I appreciated that the tech was curious about what had happened; and that he took the time to alert me and to help me resolve the issue.
