How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

In a home where no one is currently living, a standard vacuum collected nastiness days after Zerorez's technicians left. This was after the appointment was booked with up sells included in the appointment notes rather than the basic clean and deodorizing I had asked for. Zerorez "fixed" the order while the tech was out there so I could pay the originally intended service cost of $258. It seems like the quality of service to my home was minimized to keep company costs as low as the price they settled with charging me. The service was not worth even that especially with the wet dog smell left behind and the mess I have photographed in our vacuum. I truly wish the service had been all that was originally promised...deodorizing guaranteed because I was looking forward to finding a trustworthy company to continue servicing our new home.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I should have known that your “5 Room Special”for $273 was the classic bait and switch. First thing I was told was that the package didn’t include Stairs and that would be another $60. Makes sense, why would it?, not many 2 story homes have stairs. Then I was informed that the soiled high traffic area in the family room would need special treatment and that would be another $80. Makes sense that the Special would only include areas of the carpet that are not walked on a lot. So instead of paying around $295 I end up paying $435, 47% more than the Special. It took less than ten minutes to do the stairs and the soiled area looks only slightly better. Don’t really see the value for the extra $140. The house had no furniture to move, so the entire job took around an hour. On the positive side, your technician arrived early and was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Thus the tip.
I’ll let you decide what you want to do to make things right.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Pros - Technician arrived early, was friendly and completed the work quickly. Cons - Technician did not remain masked while in our home, wood floors leading to/from stairs were left wet and stained with foot prints. Most disappointing, requested quote for cleaning wood floors. Technician took measurements, but did not follow-up by sending us the requested quote. Also, Scotch-guard protection was not mentioned during telephone consultation and ended up doubling the price. Still got it, though the added cost could have been mentioned during initial telephone consultation when appointment was scheduled. Carpets were cleaned well and will try again, though cannot highly recommend.

I was very pleased with Zerorez in Sterling. Crystal was so easy to work with. She was friendly and professional. I'd like to give a special shout out to Joshua Young, the technician, who did the work. Since this was my first time using Zerorez, he assured me I would be pleased with the outcome. I so appreciated his good manners so rarely seen these days. He's an asset to your company. A true professional!

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Spots appeared on my carpet and steps not originally there. My carpets look dirtier than before. After 24 hours they were still wet. Another technician came out to fix but when the carpets dried it was back to looking dirty with same spots as before. I’ve never had this problem in the past but the carpets were also a lot drier. I’ve given up and spent the day with my own carpet cleaner to fix what I could. Just super disappointed - we’ve had great experience in the past. Just felt rushed these past 2 times and left a bigger mess.

I was surprised that you impose a $200 spend on Rockville residents, despite advertising specials like the $139 three room special.
The quality of your clean is excellent, but your total charging makes me consider carefully before recommending your service.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. The specials we offer are available to all service areas. The service minimum for certain areas accommodates for travel time, cost of fuel and labor costs. As a small business we strive to offer the lowest pricing available, while ensuring our technicians are able to make a living.

Online reservations are strictly held to certain guidelines. Reserving your appointment this way doesn't allow much flexibility with service minimums. Calling into our home office allows us to determine if the minimum amount can be waived based on other appointments in the area.
