I’ve been a member since this club opened as Sky. It’s my club. I just realized the two tiered monthly cost that has me somewhat upset. Never knew that was the case
I appreciate the broad scope of free weights and machines. I also enjoy the sauna and steam room when they are operational. It's a good way to end a workout. I've not used any of the equipment upstairs at the MHK location but plan to explore that more in the future.

Building problems-no air conditioning in some work out rooms. “Yes, we’re on it,” but I don’t expect that it will get fixed. Leaks inside. Parking lot needs repair.
No communication or too late on classes canceled plus some workers have no clue when you ask.
Loss of instructors. Some of my friends have left for something better.
The remodel looks good, but the women's locker room is not clean. the stainless steel stalls are absolutely dirty; the floor has grout residue all over it. The shower stalls do not have curtain or doors.. no privacy at all.

Don’t know if that was sent. Love the classes. Love my friends who come. Machines need to be cleaned.
The ladies locker room is always out of Kleenex or simple things. The jacuzzi was broken for several months as well.
Honestly at this point I'm on here for the people not for the building. Pay your workers well so they don't quit since we haven't seen any improvements to the building. The place is falling apart.

There has been virtually no maintenance since it became Genesis. Leaking pipes right now are an issue. Gives you the feeling that the owners are not in it for the long haul.
Make check in with a phone number possible. Keep losing my bar code.
finish the remodel Finish the remodel!!! Doors on the steam room and sana in the womens lolckers room, get the hot tub working, Make sure the cleaming crew does their job !! it is terrible,! dirt everywere.
get air conditioning workng upatairs and in the exercixe room by the front doors get doors or curtains in the showers. get the drains workings!!!!
I do not understand how you can consider this the premeier facility when it is not finished!! Thart
this why we are losing menbeers to thr Papillion Landing. Also when I joined Genesis I thought I could go to any Gensis any where while traveling or in Omaha without paying extra to use the faculity. If I am a member I should beable to go to any faculity with that membership no matter when I jo8ine
to me it looks like you are want the young adults and forgetting about us senior citizens who are a large population of your membership.
Please fix the AC in Studio I. I really appreciate that BT has already responded to my concern and is working on it.

Proper maintenance and care of the facility. Just don't put band aids on issues. Cancelled my membership to the gym after being a member there for almost 13 years.
Little by little, maintenance at the 70th & A street location has improved. Machines have been fixed (upholstery and cables). Most of the bars in the weight room could be lubricated and/or used a scotchpad to remove the surface rust. A few of the weight racks are worn and/or broken. We had several occasions when there were no clean towels in the locker rooms. At least in the mornings, this has improved quite a bit. Staff has been responsive in positive ways. I might suggest that all the televisions be set to show closed-captions, as not all of the equipment is capable of receiving audio. We have heard rumors that this location is due for updates/remodeling. If this is true, it would be nice if Genesis would inform the members of the schedule of when this is planned.
Clean or replace the carpet that’s in the men’s locker room. It smells like mildew from the wet foot traffic, and never getting a chance to dry out.
I also feel like other clubs do a better job of maintaining a clean and dust free environment. I’m not sure what the cleaning schedule is for the weight room, but at one point I saw the same generic form of loose Advil pills sitting in the same spot on the floor for at least a month.
Some areas of the facility suffer a bit from deferred maintenance and could be improved
The Hickman Club not Merle Hay Club is constantly packed and running fantastic but the building is deteriorating and not taken care of from a maintenance standpoint - not uncleanliness.
Last time I was there the shower heads and faucet handles needed work. Handles were very hard to turn on or turn off. Some showers were just left running.

Love all the classes, very friendly staff. I do wish the cardio machines were working properly at the south gym.
Location and hours
It’s not as well maintained as it was when it was Prairie Life. The AC situation has been really unacceptable. I’ve had to tell the front desk that the toilet paper is totally out in the woman’s restroom. The sink in the locker room has been broken for months. I pay the same amount but do not get the same quality and it’s frustrating.
Not all locations have towels. The location I use the most off Ward Parkway KC,MO needs a serious dry sauna upgrade.
