Clean healthy environment
The upstairs weight area and stretching areas are terrible. Broken mirrors, holes in the dry wall, worn equipment pads, etc. There is no policing of the area at all by trainers if someone is throwing weights around they just laugh it off and say " oh well". Also people come up to that area carrying literally suitcases and leave them spread out all over the the gym floors. Not a pleasant environment at all. If there were another gym with a convenient location for me I'd definitely join it. I've gone sometimes to the Overland Park Genesis at 110th and it's a totally different environment. East Olathe should take note. Also the racquetball floors I don't' believe have been refinished since the late 50's.
Some of the Precor machines need tuneups. They are the best ellipticals out there. Don’t replace them with something else. But some need fixed.

The weight room, bar none, is the best. And the staff treats me like family. I live near the BA Genesis and I drive another 15 minutes to go to the South Tulsa location.
It has a broad assortment of work out equipment, classes and very good trainers.
Equipment is always broke down, as much as we pay for our membership this should not be a issue, hard to get into classes, kids are always running around from the basket ball area, they run out in the area with treadmills, etc.. not enough cleaner bottles in the weight area.
Have more classes available! Especially during the evening hours.
Please clean the pool. Debris in water. Water cloudy and needs changed once a year. Debris leaking into pool from ceiling
youth gym has no heat, no ventilation, no air-conditioning for over a year now. This has been brought to management attention multiple times. How could any one let kids play in negative temps?
Good equipment and plenty of it. Friendly staff. Particularly like Caleb. Clean. Marcella (?) does a good job and always friendly.
I've been a member of PLC since it opened been thru the changes, the family atmosphere is gone, basic things, towels being stocked at all the studios shelves, kleenex, how do you run out, we have bulkstores in town. For stating that you are "the largest gym" in the country you need to strive to keep the place up to that standard. Need to maintain & fix things not let it get to the point where things can't be fixed, we are not a throw away society, lets take care of things. The shower heads some are broken & water pressure there & the sinks also.
I hate to have it all be complaints, a positive, the reason I am still a member is the teachers of the classes, they are the best, super motivated challenge you each & everytime

Health ridge has continued to decline in upkeep and is due for a renovation.

My home gym is Midtown in Omaha. I work for Mutual of Omaha and signed up with the Midtown gym. Would like my home gym to be switched back to there. As that is where I train with the best personal trainer Jacob Anderson three times a week for over 6 years and do to this day.
Equipment is plentiful and new
Friendly staff, attentive to needs. Super tennis pros that are always available and energetic for tennis drills we do and tennis parties we have there. They are personally involved with all of us and make the drills fun.

The location and the people. You do have a crazy member that needs to be caught. Somebody took a "dump" in the shower and I reported it today. This is the second time I had the misfortune of seeing this but have never seen who did it. The other time was two years ago. Not the club's fault. Nor would I hold it against you. One improvement would be to keep the parking lot cleaner. It might hurt you on new memberships if that is the first impression. I seen garbage in your area that never got cleaned up for a few days and that hilll by the bank (you might not own but still) is full of trash. If I was selling memberships I would be on that clean up. A few months ago there was even a used condom and wrapper in the parking lot on the side where the bank is - I usually park over there. I know because I saw it for two days. I also use the Shadow Lake club and when I went back the next weekend it was gone - so GROSS. If I was selling memberships I would keep an eye on the parking lot everyday and clean it up quick. What about the broken car window glass a couple weeks ago from a car break in. That should be picked up immediately - what if it was my first time and I was just checking the club out; I know your club and Shadow Lake is my work out choice. This doesn't happen all the time. BTW - Yes the poop was cleaned up quickly but the parking lot should be a constant thing.
Way too busy in the evenings. I realize that is prime time for a gym but this gym is so frustrating. People take way too long to do their sets and none of the weights are ever put back where they belong. Not really the gym's fault, just people. I have started going to the other location and although the equipment is more limited and older, at least I can use it in a reasonable amount of time.
The variety of classes and I instructors are great! The feeling of a small locally owned gym
The showers are ridiculous. No hot water the last 3 days, Three to four of them don’t even work. I’ve reported this before. Three to four of the t.v’s don’t work or no sound. I use ear buds to watch the news or programs but maybe I should just use my cellphone like everyone else and sit on the machines and scroll. So many people do this and tie them up. Several times I never even got on the machine I wanted because of cell phone sitters. You advertise all these deals to new comers but you should put your efforts in to making improvements. I long for the prairie life days where things were kept up. I always pay for a year and got 10 free passes. That’s gone too so I’m looking around. Thanks for listening. Now I’ll wait to see if anything gets done.
Proximity to my home
The variety of equipment and space. The coaches and trainers. The locker room has enough room. The pool and hot tub / spa are properly maintained. The membership price is reasonable and the staff is easy to work with.
