It's great to be back after this past year!
Buy more carabiners and weight stack pins. There haven't been enough for months. No excuse for not having these stocked. Many carabiners are in need of replacement as well.
the weight room
I enjoy the gym, however lately it's been very muggy inside the Alden location. It's the one attend. Also, there is a newer customer service guy at the front that is somewhat rude. When I wanted to pay for a water upon entering the gym, he said that I could not purchase it at that time, he was counting the cash register. When he had just opened the drawer and had not started counting it. Then when I said to the female at the counter to please just put it on my account then she made sure I had an account (which I had just checked in to the gym with my card) I told her yes. Neither one suggested that I could put it on my account. The male was obviously in charge, and the female was just seemed lost as to whether that she could put it on my account. She seemed to be waiting on the male that just ignored both of us. Sorry, I was not waiting on him for clarification and she went ahead and just confirmed that I had an account. I don't know what he expected me to do, to wait for him to be able to ring me up or what, but I wasn't going to put off my limited time work out for his dismissive of me. When I see him upstairs he seems very unfriendly.

Great equipment and friendly atmosphere.
Don’t allow people to bring in there boom box and blare it. It is very annoying and disrespectful.
I have a knee I couldn’t walk on for over two months and I called the newly transferred manager of the Genesis Health Club in Hutchinson in my effort to put a freeze on my account to prevent the waste of my complete 42.xx payment until I could return but he was no help and I just returned to the gym for the last two days. I was going to speak with the unhelpful/indignant manager for his lame explanation face to face, but I was told he will be out on vacation until June 7th. I have told this story at least 10 times to friends in the area and will continue to tell the story.
I just hope the manager understands his actions and the way he treats those who have memberships in Genesis has real consequences.

Love the amenities, equipment and staff. Great place to work out.

Please open on time I’m the morning—for many members their membership is based on the club promptly being open on time. Also the women’s bathroom clearly is not cleaned on a daily basis or maybe even in a week. The equipment needs to be properly maintained—back areas by tennis courts are especially bad and will lead to cables breaking.
Tanner is a wonderful manager and cares about the people who work out there. I think he needs corporate backing to get the things taken care of.
I have love d this gym for almost a decade. It feels like home. Once you’ve found your routine, you will see friendly faces every time you step in that’ll say hi and keep motivating you.
The classes and instructors are awesome. Thank you to Diana for doing a great job and all of your staff.

I have many friends there and it is close to where I live. Have belonged for many years and have always found what I need. Been gone al winter so have to see what is going on now.
Pilates mats are crumbling. Please discard and replace. Need about triple the hand sanitizers through out the gym. Especially in yoga room and class room.
I like the convenience of the location amd the friendliness of the staff.

I joined t club for the pool.
I like to swim 1 or 2 times a week. The hours used to be perfict for my schedule when you were open till 12AM and 10PM on weekends.
Losing those two hours at the end of the day when covid hit his major to struggle for me to get there on time to get a swim in.
Please go back to the old ours as soon as possible that is the main reason I joined your Club.
Also stop trying to pass off hand towels as bath towels. I'm six foot five 290 lb and it's an insult when somebody hands me a hand towel to dry off with after I swim.
That may work for somebody a third my size but it doesn't work for me.
And you definitely have a staff rotation problem at the hundred and 3rd Street Club
I am glad to see the renovation starting to take place. The front desk people in the early hours continue to be the strength of the employees at the club.
I understand that the pool area is closed but cutting the grass which is well over a foot tall is necessary.
I am concerned about the random events that are showing the dilapidated condition of the building. For example the lights were out in the one and only mens locker room for multiple days. The front desk person (Kate) tried to problem solve when it happened but it was beyond her training.
The front door has been broken and continues to be broken for multiple weeks now.
The carpet in the corner by the treadmills has been and continues to be soaking wet for multiple months now. Its gross to hear a squishing sound while walking on carpet and not really know why the carpet is wet, or where it is coming from.
There was a week or two where it was clear the a/c was not on. I was worried it would be like last summer, however most of the club is cool, aside from the treadmill/bike/free weights area which is too enclosed to be cool.
Why does the racquet club location continue to use its "covid hours" on the weekends? The 70th and A location does not use these hours. I would prefer not having the extra drive to go to another location when the hours use were the same.
