Need to get new lockers in mens locker.

i signed up and immeduately found out that the steam room is out of seevice. that was the main reason i had signed up. should have checked first.

The past 6 weeks or so the gym has become filthy. There were no towels upstairs to disinfect machines twice last week. EVERYTHING is dusty and gross! I’ve told the desk downstairs but their response is anything but leading need to believe they will do anything about it.
I wish there was a way to put in requests for maintenance other than having to find an employee. Like a quick online system to submit when something is broken or needs improved.
The club in Olathe is becoming trashier and trashier. Rarely is anything ever attended to o when it needs to be. Whether it’s equipment repair or cleanliness.
I Liked it better when it was prairie life. So I liked the way they had it set up best. Cleaning could be better.
The facility needs cleaning and maintenance.
The indoor pool is cloudy and dirty.
Aquatic equipment needs new weights.
Now charging a quarter for a paper cup is unbelievable.
The gym is very dirty and dingy. Lots of stuff out of order and the carpet looks Terrible. The only reason I’m still there is because of Crossfit. There’s been lots of talks on a remodel but yet for three or four months now I’ve seen nothing being done.
On the flipside I’m very happy with Crossfit I love the coaches and the intimate space. It would be nice to have it a little bigger or possibly an outdoor rig.

Multiple things always seem to be broken. The men’s locker room has never had everything functional for at least three years. The swimsuit dryer for example, In operable many times and now completely removed off the wall with some crappy towel and sign saying out of order. The hot tub, another example, maybe two months in the past couple years were all the Jets worked, at least one light over the hot tub burned out, tiles missing. Just go through and look at the showers, how many have benches, lights that I actually put out enough to really see what you’re doing, showerheads working. I guess one good thing is you’ve never ran out of toilet paper or towels, and it appears as all the lockers are operational now. I run outside at times, on the outside obstacle course and it used to be beautiful, now you have to dodge potholes and create your own path through the grass.
I still go there, so overall I like it and able to get a good work out in, but it’s definitely not the premier club it once was.
The parking lot is a mess….it needs repairs asap before some is injured. Also some of the TVs on the stationary equipment do not work…
The people are kind , equipment is good
No HVAC in the spin room and pilates room! We have just lived through a respiratory pandemic and in fact it continues. And you have people in an enclosed space. The showers are not finished. The saunas are not finished. This renovation has taken over a year! Yup, no recommendation from me.
Fix the broken mirrors!! Looks so bad..not to mention a safty Hazzard!!..Get new barbells..most are bent from years of usage... We all know.. the money is there...to fix all these issues!! But (they )would rather Remodel other clubs in the more populated areas ...Otherwise it stays mostly clean..on the few times I'm there...
Steady decline in cleanliness and facility in general since joining four years ago. Would not recommend anyone join at regular price. Keep my membership for the steam room which is often out of service and almost never has eucalyptus spray, always smells.
The facility has been in construction for 2-3 years with not major advancements. Sauna never works and equipments are old
There is never enough adjustable benches for the amount of members.
A couple personal trainers will take up 3-4 areas/machines during busy times.
When I was at genesis in southern Missouri, the staff would walk around, put equipment back, organize free weights, etc. this one seems to just sit around on their phones when they aren’t busy.
It took about 2 months to fix the one smith machine we have.
The cable machines, a couple of the cables are frayed, so the cable with catch when you try and lift.
A select few attachments for the cable machines will get hidden in random areas or behind a trainers desk so nobody can use them besides some select people.
Goes on and on.. loved Genesis when I was down south, but it doesn’t seem much has changed when they bought out Aspen.
Satisfaction is in the details! I am a almost daily participant in the Aqua classes. The pool is good most of the time. BUT the ladies locker room is sorely in need of attention! Lockers are in disrepair. Carpet is nasty. Showers need attention. The view from the warm water pool is undesirable! Please remove the old rusty broken lounge chairs you are “hiding” beside the outdoor restrooms and the dead bushes by the gate. You can do better for “premier” .

The atmosphere is so pleasing, the staff is friendly and professional and people (clients) are respectful to each other.
Pushing gym members to clean equipment after they use it. I see many people not cleaning off gear after they use it and get sweat on it. There are always plenty of cleaning supplies and towels available, I feel it is a communication problem.
