Get the jobs done quick and friendly.
Standard arrives as scheduled every time we call for service, and leaves us with properly functioning furnace or A/C. We have dealt with Standard since we bought our house in 1976.

I'm not disappointed and there is nothing to do to make things right. I found Standard heating and air conditioning to be costlier than the contractor I selected. I was impressed by the visit I had and am certain you would have done good work but ultimately I made a different decision. Bloomington Heating and Air provided me with essentially the same system for about $2000 less.
Nathan was the only Tech IK have used in the twin cities that found the actual root cause problem on my new 3 year old furnace that has never run since the first day. Hard working dedicated man great with customers. Down to earth. Thank you Nathan.

Training? The first technician failed to get a hose on all the way. Water leaking from furnace. I called Standard. Second technician fixed it.
I phone the office the day of the appointment to see where I was on the list the early or late. I was told I was the third person and was given a estimated time. The technician called 2 hours after the estimated time and arrived 5 minutes before the end of the window I was given, this is 21/2 hours after the time I was given in the phone. The technician has been to our house before and very through. He ran into issues on a previous call and the office should have called. They did not. This is frustrating when you leave work early based on the information given.
The techs are friendly, courteous, and good at their job. Always answer my questions even if they sound like stupid questions. Prices are good. Techs show up when they say they will. Never any problems with Standard so I plan to stick with you in the future.

$274 to install a thermostat is excessive. the last thermostat a few years ago was $85.

On 11-12-15, Jeff did a winter tune-up. He was told at the time that the thermostat had twice indicated sensory failure/system malfunction. He said the problem was that it needed a new filter. Since he did not have one in his truck, I had to go to the Snelling Co. to pick one up. On 11-27 and 11-30, the furnace shut off at night and the temperature dropped to 64 degrees. The thermostat showed the same message: sensory failure/system malfunction I called Standard and got an appointment for 12-08. Jason reworked the thermostat wires at the furnace, and he told us that was the problem. I expect a refund for the 11-12-15 service, or lack of service.
