How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

WE are very disappointed to find our furnace wasn't heating because a gas valve needed replacing. Somehow, water had rusted a pipe and also had gotten into the gas valve and ruined it. Our furnace is only 6 years old, and we wonder about the installation/design of the furnace to allow this to happen. Our repairman concluded that someone had put a hose into the intake pipe outside, therefore spraying water into the system. This isn't what happened, we can assure you. Other than that idea, the repairman had no knowledge of how the water reached the gas valve. We believe it is condensation/leakage from the furnace somehow. We will check the furnace from time to time in the future to be sure there is no condensation/water in that area. We hoped our "energy efficient" furnace would be just that, energy/pocketbook efficient. Our repair bill was $494.! Not very efficient, after only 6 years of use. The repairman was patient and efficient.

Very thorough troubleshooting was performed on my Lenox heater. Paul did excellent work! His persistence found the root cause my my system issues and got me the correct parts rather than charging me for "guesswork".

What do you like about our services?

It was 7am and I had no heat. Called 2 numbers before Standard and got voicemails. A LIVE person answered my call at Standard and set me up same day. Greg was my tech and he was super cool, fast, and efficient. These guys will be my 1st call for HVAC needs forever and I HIGHLY recommend them. THANK YOU GREG AND STANDARD HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING!!!

What could we do to improve?

This was the first time I have had someone in from Standard and I wasn't extremely satisfied. The technicians always use shoe and boot covers. This guy didn't, and didn't offer to take off his shoes. Unusual!

He also didn't check the filter and offer to change it.

I would have addressed these issues, but I was busy teaching piano lessons so didn't interrupt my lesson.
