Tried to bring back an item that was bought at Amsterdam location. The man was rude to tell us we had to take them back there as we didn’t have the receipt. I called Heather at Amsterdam, the best salesperson ever, and she emailed it to the man also texted it to me.
That was horrible customer service at Saratoga. Amsterdam was worth our drive and won’t do any business with Saratoga again.
We being our RV for service every year
And this year they dropped the ball on things that needed to be repaired. Still waiting for a call back on getting the part I need & it's been 2 weeks & I have called twice

it would be nice if the saratoga store had a fenced in winter storage yard with cctv .and have service and parts dept to answer the phone calls insted of me leaving a messege and maybe they`ll call back.

2019 camper already has a roof leak and told by your staff that I should bring in camper every 6 months to be looked at. What kind of second rate campers do you sell. Forever warranty doesn't cover roof repair. Camper only used twice. Not happy.
Very friendly people I will buy from you again
The sales experience was great but dealing with service is very frustrating. When calling and not being able to get someone to answer the phone, only able to leave a message, and 6 hours later still no call back, seems a bit excessive. Once you can finally get someone on the line they are very helpful but the customer service definitely needs some help.
I purchased my Forrester last August. The salesperson (Charlie) didn't do a follow up call to ask how everything was going. I had my motorhome into service on March 28th for various warranty items. I never received a call from service (as promised the same day) until a week later after I submitted a customer survey. Understandably the whole supply chain issue delays everything, I waited 5 weeks for the warranty parts to come in. Several items were still on back order. I would never recommend to anyone a Forrest River RV. The workmanship and quality control are dismal. How could a badly warped privacy door pass quality control?
Getting an appointment was convenient, work was done in a timely fashion, and I was updated on the progress and findings. A very good experience.

The buying process felt like the ultimate sleazy used car buying experience

Greg Clark, a ten year employee at Alpin Haus stated my truck did not have brake connection for a travel trailer, it was easily seen from where he looked. Riley, an Alpin Haus employee stated he needed to move my truck to have the brake connection installed. I told him my two dogs were in the truck, he insisted and stated "it was ok" I told him it wasn't and took my dogs out of the truck. He felt the need to walk closely to me, reached down to my dog's face and almost a day later was informed by the Montgomery County New York health dept. that my dog bit Riley (even though I was Alpin Haus for hours after Riley's encounter with my dog). I am not convinced that Riley didn't grab my dog or touched her in an aggressive manner. I believe that an Alpin Haus employee demanding he be alone with my dogs and then the compulsion to touch my dog after I told him "no" don't go near my dogs was intimidation and a complete distraction from a $37,000 sale. To state for the record, Riley's behavior was not of a "reasonable person". I was also approached by a female Alpin Haus employee, who walked close enough to my dogs to make them uncomfortable and I had to back up as she refused to do so.
The fuse light is still on though John stated it was fixed. The shower screen was not fixed before I bought it, as Greg promised. Greg stated he would arrange for me to bring it to Columbus Ohio to have it fixed there. He did no such thing. It took John over 20 minutes to install a shower curtain (took me 2 seconds after it fell down during one trip). After the alleged dog bite Greg and other Alpin Haus employees absolutely needed to know where I was traveling to. Not any of your business, especially after Greg informed me he helped a customer who was at a nearby campsite get into their RV after getting locked out. I am a single woman with two dogs I adore. They are also my security. Alpin Haus treated me with such disregard, intimidation and an absolute lack of respect. Not one of you asked how my dog is doing and whether Riley has any diseases he could have spread to my dogs and to me. I am demanding an explanation of Alpin Haus' behavior towards me and how you are going to rectify what was done.
Service dept goes the extra mile. Friendly staff.
Scheduled my warrantee and NYS State inspection for 08:00 and was started and completed in reasonable time.
They were very accommodating it getting me in for service on my 2021Tiffin Wayfarer and addressing a non operational refrigerator.
