Alpin Haus has most of what is needed for maintenance or repairs for my Hymer Aktiv, both in terms of parts and experience by the staff.
Our experience buying our first travel trailer went very well at Alpin Haus! Asa, our RV Outfitter, was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to walk us through the details of every aspect of the trailer. Mark, the Sales Manager was very nice and agreed to store our camper for a little longer than typical before we were ready to pick it up. The price was excellent and our experience with Keith in the Finance Office was equally as pleasant. Dan in the Parts Department was also an expert, ensuring that we ordered the necessary accessories to travel safely. At no time was anyone pushy or "salesy". It was an overall excellent experience. We would highly recommend Alpin Haus to our friends and family and will seriously consider them when purchasing our next RV down the road.

Sales Department is great. Parts and retail staff are great and fun. Service Department Techs are great! Service Advisor Department needs serious attention and improvement. I don’t like being treated as if I am a pain in the ***. I did not haggle on price with what I thought was an understanding that the camper was ready to go. I paid the $ 899.00 for “Dealer Prep and Cleaning”. None of that was done. Field Techs have been to service camper four times and they are still not done. When I call the Service Advisor started conversation with “ What’s wrong now Doug”, I could not get through to a human for weeks for something that had been started and not finished. I had to use Zip-ties for the wiring so I could move my camper. Please call for further clarification should you need or want it.

Always friendly and have the parts and if not can get ordered
It took me about 2 months to get my trailer in for a co detector and to have my water heater fixed. I also asked to have a marker light lens replaced and two new jacks installed at the rear. The co and water heater were fixed, no mention of the other two items. The service techs are very nice and friendly, maybe a little too busy.
The girl in service ( I didn't get her name) wasn't very nice. Abrupt answers, not a great attitude. Made me feel like I was bothering her and didn't like her job. Made a very bad impression on your business.
Quick, honest, friendly and accurate help. Definitely a great relationship from the start and continuing into maintaining and servicing your purchase.
I was in for my yearly "Warranty Forever" service and I was very satisfied with your service department. As soon I entered I was immediately asked if they could help me. I don't remember the gentleman's name (sitting at the very first desk). He pulled up my appointment and referred me to Dave Behuniak. Dave was very professional and knowledgeable regarding the questions I asked. He explained the processes that I needed and scheduled a new appointment.
I do greatly appreciate your service departments customer service and professionalism.

Camper was not left out for after hours pickup even though Randy confirmed that it was out there. Drove to Amsterdam for nothing.
You cannot seem to keep service desk personnel. I was dealing with Louis who was great, then I heard he left then I was dealing with Gill who never called me back of which I found out that he quit after less than a week. Then I was dealing with the service manager who didn’t call me back. My trailer spent 5 1/2 months at your dealership while trying to decide whether Keystone or your facility was going to handle the repairs. Well Keystone decided they wanted to handle the repairs, so it spent 4 months there (not your fault) to completely rebuild the camper of which they didn’t do a bang up job so it’s back at your facility awaiting parts from Keystone to re-repair what was supposedly fixed at the factory. Soooo….needless to say I’m not a happy camper (no pun intended)
WE WANTED TO DO THE TRAILER SWAP IN THE SARATOGA DIVISION BECAUSE IT WAS VERY CLOSE TO THE PLACE WE ARE STAYING USING OUR CAMPER AS A SUMMER RESDANCE AND MAKE THINGS SIMPLER THAN DOING THE TRADE IN PORT JAVIS. MOST STEPS THERE WAS NOT VERY READY FOR THE SWAP EXCEPT THE WALK THOUGHT, THERE WERE SMALL PROBLEMS THAT NEEDED TO BE CORECTED AND WERE. IN THE END EVERY THING WAS COMPLEAT AN WE LEFT WITH THE TRAILER WE COULD LIVE IN AN ARE HAPPY WITH.

The Alpin Haus team was awesome start to finish! I started with a Class B van rental - Novalie was super sweet and made me feel at ease with the rental process. When I returned from my trip, Steve took time to show me some vans on the lot and stayed in touch to walk me through possible options that became available. He was patient through the buying process!! Jim made the payment part of the purchase seemless and straight forward. On pick-up day, Blake was AWESOME!! He was a fantastic teacher - he knows his stuff and it shows!! He took lots of time with us and made sure we felt 100% confident before we hit the road. I traveled over 2.5 hours to come to the Amsterdam location and will be back for maintenance and service in the future because Blake was the best! I would definitely recommend the Amsterdam, NY location to anyone looking to rent, purchase, or service an RV 😀

Unfortunately it has taken 6 attempts to fix our refrigerator since 2018. Our fifth wheel camper was left there one entire winter to get it fixed, however it sill didn't keep anything cold. We brought it down for three weeks this spring and it worked for one weekend. A technician came and found that the seal needed replacing. It held temperature last weekend, but we are still using a small refrigerator until we can trust that it will keep temperature. We have lost well over $500.00 in food that we had to toss due to it not keeping temp. Randy has been fantastic and has kept me abreast of the diagnosis and the part status. He is the first person that has kept his word that he would take care of us and keep in contact with us. You need to communicate with your customer like Randy has. You need to follow through with your customer like Randy has. I was in the swimming pool business and I know that telling a customer bad news is not a fun conversation, however making that call is so much better than ignoring the situation. I give Randy a 10 for our dealings with Alpin Haus. As for the previous dealings I give a rating of a 6.

Tom from sales was excellent. Prior to coming to Alpin Hause we were negotiating a deal at Meyer's RV, when we got there to sign the paperwork the manager changed the deal and wanted more money. We walked out very angry. The following Saturday we met Tom and the entire process was enjoyable. We pick up our travel trailer Friday. Thank you
The service department was very nice. They repaired our trailer in a timely manner. We would come back again for any other repairs.
They always go above and beyond to make sure the customer is taken care of during and after the sale.
IT WAS VERY EASY TO TALK TO EVERY ONE AND UNDERSTAND WHAT WE NEEDED TO MAKE THIS TRADE GO FOWARD AS EASY AS IT COULD WERE WE WERE USING THE CAMPER AS SUMMER RESIDANCE IN THE WILTON NEW YORK, WE BEING FROM CONCORD NEW HAMPSHIRE
When I brought my trailer in for fridge not working, they diagnosed and we made repair decisions. Was told be ready by Friday, Wednesday of next week I stop in, haven’t heard anything. Front end of the camper is damaged from moving it with tractor. I go into service and coincidentally on phone calls with customers about damaged trailers. When they finally got to me, then passed to manager. Should have already called me and told me, I find out there waiting on parts to repair. Almost like if I hadn’t stopped, I wouldn’t have known. Wife and I go out to check fridge and find dent on side back quarter panel, tell service person that that was not there either. Says okay. Take camper to Maine, before repair, and bring back afterwards. Coincidentally repair manager on phone again with someone about damage to a trailer. Explain fridge not working when traveling, something is beeping near fridge when moving around and excessive moisture in fridge. Go over repair’s needed and leave camper after agreeing to fix everything. Camper done call, go in see the repair front end, fridge gas supply but not dent. They bent it out some but stopped. Told they didn’t do it so can’t repair. Customer beware and take pictures when leaving anything. Worst part, was thinking of upgrading to a fifth wheel. After this experience it won’t be there.
