All good
Great customer service.
My wife and I went to Alpin Haus in Oakridge and met with Mike Mapes. We had no idea what we were looking for, just that we wanted a travel trailer so that we could make some memories while the kids are still young. Mike was very patient, as I asked every question that I could think of. He continued to be patient despite me having them bring one down from Port Jervis and leaving a deposit only to change our minds again. In the end, with Mike's help providing the pros and cons of each, we were able to make a final decision on the one that suited our family and our needs the best. I then sat with Dennis Monochello to sign all the paperwork. He provided me with all the information needed to make informed decisions on what coverages I wanted and helped get me approved without having to perform a second hard inquiry when the decision was made on a more expenisve model than initially selected. They were professional, courtesy, and most importanty patient with us. Mike was not pushy and did not try and sell us on something more expenisve. This old school sales method is hard to come by and it was nice to see that this still exists. We finally went with a 2022 Jayco Eagle HT 284BHOK, and we can't wait for our first camping trip. I've heard great things about their service department and will continue to do business with Alpin Haus for years to come!
Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable
Overall I would recommend AlpinHaus to others due to large selection, strong support capability, and being a family-owned business. A recommendation for improvement is in responsiveness to questions. During the sales and post-sales process, on more than one occasion I had gone a couple of days without a response, or received no response at all to questions via email. In at least one case, I found out later that the person was away from the office. In these cases it wasn't a big deal because there wasn't any real pressing issue, just general questions - but frankly it is a bit unnerving, especially after the sale. I can completely understand that maybe it's just because everyone is stretched thin. Also, in my case I was show and sold a specific model # with desired features, however upon delivery there was a difference in features that were supposed to be in the delivered trailer (even though the manufacturer model #'s appeared to be exactly the same - not AlpinHaus' fault). That being said, I appreciated how AlpinHaus made it right, and got me in contact with the manufacturer to express my concerns, and also made sure to get me the desired show model. If you can improve the process of checking for differences between trailers (showing one, but delivering a presumably identical one), I think that would prevent future buyers from feeling stressed and aggravated.
Sales staff in Oak Ridge is great, very helpful and thoroughly explained everything to me. I was purchasing a used, smaller unit but felt the care they gave me was equivalent to what they'd give to someone spending big bucks on a new unit. My trailer is being stored onsite until spring, so I won't be having my demo until then, but did meet the person (his name escapes me) that will be doing the demo, he was nice enough to give me a quick demo of the heating/fridge/etc. in the unit so I knew it was all functioning...he was great.
Nothing. You had plenty of chances.
We like doing business with you due to the fact that you call us back when we call requesting info on our issues with our RV. Everyone is always pleasant and willing to help.
All associates that we dealt with were very nice & accommodating.
Not much!
The service depth. Is the best.
We love Dave Behuniak in the service department. He’s always helpful and up front with us and we trust him.
the day they worked on our trailer it was raining cats and dogs. they left two of the roof vents open. we found some water in the trailer. Not allot of water. but very careless in our minds.
Alpin Haus RV of Amsterdam N.Y. Is and will continue to be my preferred service location. I travel 50 minutes past many other dealers because of their excellent customer service. Special thanks to Randy R. for making service scheduling, drop off and pick up a breeze.
Ask the service department who had my camper for over four months
Took almost two months to do work on my rv only to have nothing fixed and come back with damage.
Very good company to deal with. They take very good care of you from start to finish. Highly recommended.
It was great to get my unit back within the 24 hours it was supposed to be worked on. The people were very nice. I could have left immediately but I went into the parts department and grabbed a $4 part to make my unit easier to work with. I was in for a “warranty forever “ visit.
Very large selection of travel trailers. Sales department are very thorough. Great dealership overall.
provided good communication.
Great experience super easy and quick
We have been treated very fair even though we have another brand travel trailer. Randy Robb from your service department has been very helpful and has contacted us with any issues or to let us know where he is at with getting our parts for our warranty. If there was issues, we worked together with the manufacturer to get the parts in a timely manner. We have definitely been happy with the work that we have had done.
Months to get my trailer repaired. Could not fix my brakes on my trailer. I needed to contact the manufacture to get them resolved. Roof leak was not fixed the first time. I realize part of the problem is the manufacture and their warranty process and the lack of parts, but the service department in Port Jervis needs some major reorganization and staffing. Oak Ridge is better, but not great.
We were not thinking of buying a 5th wheel at the Saratoga RV show but we're very impressed with the Reflection bunkhouse as well as Tony our salesman. He took his time with us. Jim Bearcroft finished it off at the Amsterdam location. Looking forward to a nice long trip in April.
Facility is nice kept up well. Knowledge of people willing to share. Lots of smiles. Variety of RVs to look at.
Prompt service. They kept us well informed and were friendly and very helpful. When we got the unit winterized they willingly walked us through the process, letting us observe and answering all our questions.
During the past few years I have had “off season” service performed on my motor home while in winter storage at Alpin Haus. I have found both the customer and vehicle service to be very efficient. The service advisors and technicians understand the maintenance issues and listen to and address my concerns. Service advisor Randy Robb has maintained excellent communication regarding current repair status and has been helpful in finding solutions for unique issues.
Great people to work with. No pressure!
Not like … love! Jacob Rienhart was so knowledgeable patient and open to discuss his personal ventures. The Alpinhaus crew, Kyle, Jim Bearcroft and the front end staff welcomed us like family! The joy expressed by them was overwhelming and welcomed!
Jacob never ignored a question or request…. No matter how foolish it seemed during after thought! Jacob is one of the family now and we hope he will find us and stay on one of our ventures!
Thank you all for a wonderful experience buying our new home!!!
