It is a guarantee that no one will answer your phone when I call, whether it's the main number, the Service Department, Sales or a direct line. It is also a guarantee that no one will return my call when I leave a message. I had to drive over 10 miles to speak with someone in person because I couldn't get anyone on the phone. That person told me that there are three people who could assist me, and they were training the other two and was completely overwhelmed. When I spoke with your representative at an rv car a few months ago, I was told that the issue with getting no one on the phone was resolved. Absolutely nothing has changed.

I was told on Monday that all of the parts for the repair of my Popup RV were in. I called three times the subsequent Friday (Nov 7th) and left messages but no one responded. At this point, the proper report seems "incomplete"

Sales person was supposed to call me back regarding putting my camper on consignment, but never did.
I am having an issue with service. I brought our RV in for a service due to a manufacturing defect. There was a claim number with Grand Design and documentation. Service never contacted Grand Design on the claim and reported the damage in a complete fabrication. It was not what I reported or told Steve or the people in Middletown what happened.
Saratoga branch has always been good for doing business with.
My appointment to get my RV serviced was at 10:00am. I arrived and checked in with the service department at 9:45 am. At 11:30, my Rv had not yet been taken in to be winterized. I went back to speak with Scott who told me it was out of his hands as the service manager was next door speaking with the service technicians about why my camper had not yet been taken in to be winterized.
When I drive over an hour from Chatham for service, I expect my appointment time to be kept. My time is valuable too. If the technicians can’t get to my camper, I would expect a better explanation from the service advisor than, “it’s out of my hands.”
The man that repaired my BMPRO did an excellent job. He provided feedback and kept me informed during the whole process. His diagnosis was accurate and he installed the new BMPRO in a timely manner. Also thankful that this service was covered by my extend warranty.
Their service department is the best we’ve experienced over the last 30 years that we have been camping.

My grand design has been a disaster but every one I’ve dealt with there to solve the problems has been great from sales to service everyone has been amazing

Despite have the wrong appointment time and showing up 2 hrs late, my husband was taken right in and the camper was inspected fully. We only wish the tech had perfor.ed the NYS inspection that is normally done because getting the camper somewhere else to have a NYS inspection can get complicated
Customer sales and service The woman at the front desk is the best ! Very friendly! and efficient. She always finds us what department we need and where to get what we need . Amsterdam Alpin Haus stored our airstream even though they don't sell them there ! Great place !

Good communication, staff is incredible, Your service dept is well organized.
Your service left my water pump on killing my Batteries and refused to replace my Batteries. This is not the first time you gave poor service and broke something on our rig. When I bought my Grand design after returning from Texas I dropped off our rig and told your service manager that with the freezing temperatures it needed to be put inside so it would freeze. Well that didn’t happen and our hot water heater froze and broke. Again you tried to get me to pay for it.
This time your service department also couldn’t decide weather I had 6 volt or 12 volt batteries because every time the talked to me it changed. So in short your service department also is in my eyes either corrupt or just really bad liars
They explain every detail of the work that was done. He showed me how to hook up for flat towing, and procaustions when towing.
We like the Grand Design campers from Alpin Haus. We had purchased our first camper from them and when ready to change to a newer one we went directly to them. It was nice to see their new dealership very large and plenty of service space to take care of any upgrades wanted for our new purchase. Everyone there was all very friendly and remembered us from previous Grand Design Imagine trailer we bought. The salesman George was a pleasure to have showing us around, knowing the rv units we saw and easily discussing the details of purchase. We were pleased with the trade in value of our original rv also.
The sales and finance department is very knowledgeable, great environment to come in with questions and go out with the RV that is specific to your needs.
I’ve heard a lot about the quality and service associated with the Grand Design models and I truly hope that what I’ve is accurate with the unit we’ve purchased.

On the service department they are nasty people
We were mislead on what the lifetime warranty would do. When we brought the rv in for inspection we pointed out an area on the slide out. We were concerned that the slide out was not working properly. We were told at first a branch must have been there when we put the slide out in. That never happened. It is cleaned every time it is closed. Then told, try our own insurance. When picking the camper up it is now stated that there are many spots that are tore. Not true. Just the 2 small spots. An estimate was given for an extremely high amount. We used the warranty on a tire the first year we had the camper which was a nightmare. We also asked if they would give us an approximate amount of the value of our camper. We are considering changing to a fifth wheel. We were told that they don't give a value unless the papers are being drawn up for a trade in. Do not feel at all that our business has been appreciated.
