Instructor Noel is great! He is knowledgeable and fun! My son loves learning with him. He enjoys playing in the band too!
My Kid is engage and have learned different instruments. He is very happy, also he is learning and making new friends.
It’s a unique music education program that allows my daughter that requires you work with with others to have a successful performance. Additionally, she is increasing her confidence to perform in front of a crowd. I don’t know of another music program that offers this.
Better service can be given to adult students. An adequate number of instructors should be present 100% of the band practices to help fill the needed gaps. Saturday classes and rehearsals would be very helpful to adult students who work full-time jobs (while raising families) during the week.
Way cooler than sports.
I like how learning music is super fun there and the teachers are very nice and great teachers and I learn past my limits and find new challenges and School of Rock does more than learn music and perform. They are kind of like a second family. They make me feel safe and happy there and I always look forward to going.
They have created a great atmosphere for the kids to learn about music. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My kids absolutely love it.
We enjoyed the experience and my only feedback would be to maybe make the classes a bit smaller.

The seasonal shows
I love the combination of private lessons and the group band experience. It allows you not only to receive one on one criticism and improvement, but also to experience playing in a real group and performing. My playing has already greatly improved in the short time I’ve been taking lessons.
One on one with students
Decrease the monthly costs. Paying over $300 plus performance costs is a lot for guitar lessons.
My kid loves this place! Great teachers and so much fun!!
Brett loved the multiple instruments he was able to perform with and learn more during the week. Being among other students (not a large group) was a plus!!!!!

Need to confirm the regular monthly price again (as thought around $325.. and then with initial month discount from prior student , about $240) This would not start until probably November after marching season . (although ( know he would want to start sooner - perhaps Thursday -but we cannot make it until around 7 to 7:30) Saturdays??
This really builds self esteem for kids.

Best music school ever!
I love the school and the programs they offer. It is a great way to achieve musical talent all the way to performances and beyond. I think all the instructors and personnel are very nice and promote a great, comfortable, encouraging musical learning environment. The equipment is the latest up to date quality and it all has been a great learning experience for me. I wish I had started with the School of Rock a long time ago.
Everything! I couldn’t be more happy with SOR Cypress. The progress my son has made since joining is nothing short of amazing. The staff and sense of community at SOR Cypress is top notch. It is obvious that the leadership is passionate about music and the students. We recommend SOR all the time.

Changing instructors and times is hard on families with busy schedules.
I love everything about the School of Rock program! Being a performance based school gives the kids incredible opportunities to perform at real venues with other kids sharing the same musical interests! The teachers and owners are great!! It has been a huge part of our families lives for many years and we are so grateful to be a part of the School of Rock family!!
Great place for kids to learn and share music
Owner and Staff are amazing! They truly love what they do, and love the kids. When people say, “Follow your passion and it will never feel like work,” is obviously what they have done here at School of Rock Southlake/Keller.
The instructors are fantastic with the kids and make them feel confident. I also love that they have opportunity to try all sorts of things, not just the instrument that they mainly focus on. My daughter takes keyboard lessons but has been able to sing with her band also and loves it.
Everyone is nice and welcoming. I'm reassured knowing so many families have been with you such a long time. Tells me the culture is strong and exactly where I want Isaac to learn.
School of Rock in Southlake has been our daughters home away from home. She has learned so much about what it takes to be in a band and the gained confidence and skill to perform in a variety of settings. She has make incredible friendships and the teachers are absolutely the best.

I love the ever-available, welcoming and accommodating Bri, my expert vocal instructor Melissa (my occasional substitute instructor Beth), and my performance Sherpas Melissa and Tim. Also, my wife is thriving with her new left-handed guitar under the instruction of Jade.
The excellent attributes of the staff allow me to overlook the otherwise fatal flaw of the perpetually broken AC. If the quality of the dedicated staff were any less than 11, I would have long ago left Southlake/Keller SoR for one with a more temperate environment.

I like everything. The way the building inside and outside look. It’s pretty cool for a music school. The front desk staff is always courteous and knowledgeable. My son loves his lessons and his teachers. Finally I love the fact that we get our money’s worth with a private lesson and group practice time.
