School of Rock Cypress is amazing!!! The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about music and do a great job instilling the love of music and the practice makes perfect mentality in the students. We couldn't be happier with our son's music progression. School of Rock Cypress literally ROCKS!
SOR in Southlake provided a great environment for my daughter to grow musically and personally. She's gotten excellent instruction from talented musicians. She's been constantly challenged to take her talents further than she felt comfortable. The combination of private instruction and group, public performances allows kids to conquer their fears and build self-reliance and self-esteem. I can't say enough about the positive impact SOR has had on her and our family. If you want your child to learn an instrument inside a great support structure, you have to look into SOR!
Love that students can take private lessons and performance group. Also like the flexibility with scheduling makeup lessons. My child loves to be able to perform onstage and is glad there is a rock music based place to learn. Also appreciate the discount for multilple family members taking lessons
I love the school. The programs have helped me improve as a musician greatly! It is a great relaxing invironment, the staff and students are encouraging and friendly. I hope to be with the school for a long time!

I can see my son beginning to learn how to play guitar and he is excited to go for his lessons and to his performance group. You have a great staff that are in tune with the kids. The bonus is you have a great group of kids- the supportive culture is so amazing! We have nothing but good things to say and cannot thank y'all enough for investing so much in all of these kids!
Tim is an excellent drum coach and Director. As a new adult drummer, I find he not only listens to my goals and fears, but matches challenging songs to help me grow and be just the right amount of uncomfortable for the purpose of achieving drumming stardom! I look forward to the next season.
I’ve just finished the most enjoyable of my five performance seasons on vocals with Melissa and Tim. My wife is progressing well with her weekly lessons on guitar with Jade. My daughter continues to sample the occasional add on lesson with Beth.
We love our instructors and the level of real world experience they bring to the table! Bri is efficient, professional, and accommodating while maintaining a friendly atmosphere tha people want to hang in!

I like the idea that kids get to learn together in a band performance plus the individual lessons to master their instrument of choice. Having a positive attitude towards all students and using their musical talent in keeping the kids interested in learning.
I love the fact that we practice in a group environment, which gently pushes me to not only Practice, but to become Better !

From the management to instructors to the facilities themselves everything is top notch
Jalen loves to go to School of Rock Camp . He likes the new friends he's able to make and enjoys sharing music with them because Music is his passion. He especially likes performing in concert for family and friends.
The bands continue the learning from private lessons. The shows help build confidence in the kids and give them a sense of responsibility for learning the songs and the set order. The band depends on one another. Team effort! My kids love it.
