I love that my daughter not only learns an instrument, but also learns to play as a band. I also love the concerts. They are always fun!

People are great!
We moved from Irvine, CA and we were looking to continue drum lessons for our son. We found did a tour with school of rock and we knew it would be a great fit for our son. He enjoys his lessons and the teaching and follow up lessons are great.

More communication with parents regarding student progress during group sessions.
The staff is wonderful. Patient and engaging. Honestly, can’t say enough nice things about them.
Structured and fun. My grandson enjoys it! He is only 7 and able to stay focused for the hour and a half group lesson, then the 45 minute private lesson immediately following his group lesson. He really likes Dan.
Our son absolutely loves his Keyboard lessons and band lessons! He is in first grade, and this is his first formal exposure to learning music. He looks forward to the classes, and after 2 lessons he was already playing parts of a song! We are impressed with what he is learning and that he enjoys going!
Our son joined three years ago as a beginner musician on bass guitar. He had never played for an audience of 1, much less on stage in front of hundreds of people. In a few short months he was on stage performing with a band. Fast forward three years later and he now plays bass, at an expert level, lead guitar and sings. He performs multiple shows a year and his confidence in all areas of life has soared. As parents, we are so happy he has found his "thing" that he excels at. This would not have been possible with out the guidance and the instruction he has received from the amazing people at School of Rock. He loves going to his rehearsals and has made some amazing friends with other young musicians. We could not be happier with the decision to join the Southlake School of Rock.
Our family loves that in addition to private lessons students can participate in a band that performs around 6 times a year. Our kids are gaining more than just music education. We have watched them become confident performers. Every week our kids are excited for both their lessons and band practices. We also love that the entire family can participate. Our entire family is a student at SOR Southlake and my husband and I are having a blast. We look forward to our weekly band practices and have noticed that it is our favorite day of the week. All of the staff at SOR are passionate about their jobs.
All the teachers here are great and teach well and the band is a great way to socialize and learn to play music with others
The best thing about school of rock is the people. People like Doxy and Andrew make learning music fun.

Where do I start! We have been here since right before my daughter turned 5 and she's 9. She's been in Rock 101 for 2 years now. She played Electric Guitar at first but wanted to venture off to vocals the last two seasons. Her goal is to be able to do both. What Michelle has accomplished with our daughter in vocals in such a short time, I'm impressed! The confidence this gives the children and seeing growth in all of them from one season to the next is really impressive.
There could be more music style variety in the shows -

The staff at the Cypress SOR has been very diligent in making sure the band experience is enjoyable, challenging and beneficial for me, the adult student.

Great people, great program. One small item, at the group concerts, might want to let parents know if concerts are running on schedule or late via email day of events - so parents can plan their days a bit better. But overall, its an amazing program. Thank you.
We love it there but the instructors make or break each season. Right now we are having a really hard time with an instructor. He just does not connect with the kids. There has been way too much turnover related to him and it’s a bummer to see those kids go.
The instructors are genuinely interested in whether our boys are enjoying their experience and push them to exceed their capabilities and build their confidence.
