The staff is amazing!
The kids show improvements every single season.
There are opportunities for everyone.
Our daughter is into it. Making friends, gaining confidence and learning an instrument. We have already recommended it to another new patron.
Doxey!
The instructors make my child feel like a rock star. Amazing program!
its cool :)
Bri, Beth, Ariel, and Melissa are the best!
Very engaging and friendly.
My kid has fun but I have no visibility to what he’s actually learning, other than an inconstant email notice of what they did in class.
Great, fun way to learn!
The teachers for individual lessons are very knowledgeable and the group experience is great. It provides an opportunity for all levels of players to play together and learn from one another. Playing live forces you to get better. I'm glad I finally decided to check it out and wish I'd done it later.
That my child truly loves going to all his classes and is leaning so much. Everyone that we have encountered in Southlake are totally cool.
Prices are pretty high. Not sure frequent tavern shows with little practice are all that beneficial so early. It seems that most new students hardly play correctly or even at all (their volume is turned down). Yet there is the benefit of getting experience on stage and the feel of making music. Still hoping to see some student prigress after a few more shows.
Great instructors. Great administration. Super fun participants.
Show dates and times are hard to find on website. Calendar only shows classes.
My granddaughter loves her classes and her band practices. So for me, that is what matters.
Might could use a little extra help getting from playing guitar or singing to playing and singing.
Amazing talented instructors who have fun with the kids. Awesome song choices. Most importantly, a positive, inclusive atmosphere where my daughter feels welcomed and accepted. School of Rock days are the highlight of her week!
the practical and fun approach to learning songs vs music basics first and then songs
My daughter, Claire, really enjoys the instructor and seems to be engaged and learning.
School of Rock helps promote confidence within the youth that attends.
The music being used to teach music is fun and exciting. It engages the kids a lot more than the more classical versions used to teach in other schools. They make the environment welcoming and super fun. My son was excited to get started and begin practicing with the band.
I enjoy the teachers and their skill set, very knowledgeable and they make learning fun. My whole family attends School of Rock, myself included and we thoroughly enjoy the music, the people, and the way in which we learn. The shows are fun and the variety of music each season is what keeps us coming back. We’ve been here 3 years and I know it has changed my kids lives for the better. They are so much more confident and sure in their abilities. Their experience here has made them more outgoing and supportive of their peers.

It's all about the teachers and staff members. They are incredible! They make School of Rock an engaging place to learn and to love music. Both of my children developed a lifelong passion for making music in large part because of School of Rock Southlake/Keller. It has become an important part of our family, and we are so very pleased!
We like that the program exposes toddlers to various instruments and lessons.
Great and lots of fun. And a great way to learn music.
Excellent teachers, excellent learning environment. Very positive environment to build self confidence and also quality music skill.
Everything. The lessons, the teachers and the positive atmosphere. My son loves going to class.
I realize a child taking lessons for a few months isn't going to play guitar like Jimi Hendrix but at the rock concert we couldn't hear him at all. It would be better to play easier songs and not have the teacher on stage. All we could hear was the teacher's guitar, the singer and the drummer.
