Sometimes the information given from the inspection does not line up with someone coming in as an expert. An example is furnaces.
I found the tech who did the energy audit arrived on time, was very polite, tidy and efficient. She left everything neat and clean. I would recommend Amerispec for an energy audit.
The inspector was slightly early, called before coming, courteous, helpful and answered all my questions.
We settled on November 27. Within a day of moving in we were smelling sewer gas in the master bathroom. The problem persisted and we had a plumber onsite December 7. He identified the master bathroom shower did not have a trap. After further investigation in the crawl space he identified the piping was in code violation based on its placing. He asked if we had a home inspection and stated this should have easily been identified as a code issue. Very disappointing it was not identified at the time of inspection. So now $750 later we had to have the problem resolved.

Good services on the first inspection prior to our changes. The second inspection seems a long way from the first. Installation of the new furnace and heat pump were complete on November 28th but the second inspection isn't until January 10th. Cannot get our rebate until it is complete.

Prompt and curtious service
The inspector was cordial and acceptable to being followed around with buyers family. I was not able to be on site for the inspection and used FaceTime with the inspector. He addressed every issue I had ( 17 questions ) with patience and expertise.
He was very methodical and equipped to check everything I needed and more.
I admit that past experiences with home inspectors was less than satisfactory.
