The flexibility and availability of the Care Designer to support our families changing needs as my father's illness has progressed.
The biggest reason for this is the front line staff who come to my home. They are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and kind.
The monthly administration fee and communication.
Maria and Courtney are the greatest. They are always on time , friendly and very helpful
Some aids are self starters but for the most part my regular aid while very nice was not. One aid overstepped her role all together.
The schedule sometimes too early, sometimes not confirmed.

My personal experience so far with the nurse professionals with Nurse Next Door has been brilliant. I also enjoy the flexibility (in terms of shift/hours) that is offered to myself as a client.
The nurses are hard working, possess a sense of humour, and definitely know what they are doing.
The visiting "Nurses" are excellent, very polite, helpful and make my life that much easier !

The person who took care of my mother in law while we were on vacation was the perfect fit for her. They were active and my mother in law enjoyed her company. Her name was Penny and I heard nothing but great things about her.

I thought the caregiver ‘Ral’ I had post op was very professional. As a trained physiotherapist in her country of origin, I felt lucky to have such an educated and kind person in my home.

I am very happy with one of the girls who come to help me with my PD machine her name is Joddie
I am unhappy with the others that come to my home when she is not there
they come to early not on their scheduled time one guy came at 7am when he was scheduled to be here at 3 pm
the others never take my blood pressure or even ask me how i am to me this is not true caring of a patient
the supervisor does not listen when i ask her to do something about any problem she just says she will follow up but then it happens again and again
she is not very sympathetic at all
The Vancouver Island team of Nurse Next Door professionals are all absolute gems. The team that provides service to me on a daily basis in Nanaimo is made up of Courtney, Kirsten and Maria.

Nurses are 5 stars providing excellent homecare for my stepfather daily dialysis.
Most of the nurses are very good. However I was told no one would come before 10 but my Sunday caregiver comes at 9 and I have not gotten disconnected. I am extremely mad about that.

I can only give you a reason because of my mother in law, she was so pleased with her care she would not hesitate to call again. We can’t thank you enough for the wonderful care she had. We are grateful.
My care person, Anne, is fine, but the communication trying to cancel her is not good. Today I called the number that was given to me, I left a message, and it didn’t get to her. I had to call her. I also had to cancel her for two days next week and that wasn’t done . Anne gave me a number and name of Nicole to cancel the guy didn’t know who Nicole was. This wasp e of the reasons I changed from Delta to Vancouver, lack of communication within the staff. It’s frustrating for the customers.
The girls that come see me are great but the office service is extremely lacking

My caregiver would rate a 10 but the reason I gave a 5 is because I have been double billed by NND Delta and have still not received some of the money owed to me. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford this especially as it has taken so long.
