I'm a new convert having switched over from the Jamis "Boss" beach cruiser to the Townie. While both are nice rides, the aesthetics of the Townie and the choice of colors offered are what sold me on the switch.
The Boss cruiser DOES edge out the Townie ever so slightly in the comfort department IMO; but the Townie is certainly no slouch. It is a 5 STAR bike that I am proud to show off and I am looking forward to enjoying many adventures.
I DO wish I had chosen to have a Trek shop build my bike rather than having my Townie delivered to my local bike shop, however. I think I missed out on a more personable experience, perhaps? Next time.
