Most is the classes and the instructors and members.
There are many different classes for every age and fitness level, and the instructors are knowledgeable and helpful. A clean and inviting atmosphere with so many choices you can’t get at a gym. Love the Trumbull Y.

It would be nice to get a basic breakdown the daily routine/activities through email or get to know the staff info. It was difficult at first to drop our 3 yr old off quickly with people we had never met and not having a full understanding of the structure of the day to day at camp or who would be working with him.

The gymnastics team and swimming teams are very nice and worked to help our little ones improve .
The kids were obsessed. The counselors were so welcoming and my kids have never done camp ever so it was so amazing to see
It would be great if there were more options for the campers when it rains. I was surprised to hear from my children that many campers bring video games, phones, and iPads to camp too. I think those devices should be strictly prohibited. My children need to be getting a lot of exercise and outdoor time during camp, and I know they are probably lured in to the screens of their peers. The camp rules mention toys and electronics being prohibited, and I wish that rule was enforced.
All of the camp staff are always very welcoming. They plan great activities.
I would’ve liked as a new camper parent that an orientation or a tour or an overview of what the camp is about I did not get that so every day I had to ask her what did she do today just to get a feel of how things are going there. Also, I would express that the camp is like an outdoor camp, but I’m not even sure about that cause I never got a chance to go up the stairs so I don’t know what’s up there so that’s what I meant by like a tour to see if we wanna be out in the nature, I didn’t expect nature nature vibes. My child hated that it was mostly outside
Better supervision to the older kids
Our 5 year old is having the greatest time! It was so easy to sign up and we have such peace of mind knowing he is well cared for, busy and entertained for the whole day with kids his own age. The camp counselors are so friendly and helpful. The value for the money is amazing. I am so glad we get to send our son here for the summer!!
My kids loved it- pick up and drop off was extremely easy and the staff were amazing with my girls! Only regret I have is not signing them up for additional weeks’
Camp is u organized, they have nothing for the kids to do when the weather is bad, no games nothing. Kids using their bookbag as goal posts dont even have soccer goals for them.

My daughter loves the ymca camp. She has been going for about 5/6 years and she always has a great experience! She went to a few different camps before finding The Y and use to hate camp. But thanks to the Y she now loves it! She is getting older and is interested in the CIT program and says she wants to get her first job there as a counselor! Thanks for making her experience amazing!
The VERY welcoming welcome! It exudes throughout the place.
The camp was nothing like what was described and my daughter was as very disappointed. I will be calling to file a formal complaint next week.
