You can judge a store by how they act and in this regard, Peter the owner proven himself (and his store) to be someone you can trust.
I placed a deposit on a bike, minutes afterwards someone had paid for the entire amount of the bike online.
Peter true to his word did not sell the bike to the other buyer. Note there was only 1 bike and it was heavily discounted.
I have encountered businesses that would have just said sorry and handed me back my deposit.
Kudos to Heritage Bikes and Rentals.

Very impressed that Peter examined the bike when I took it in and explained to me the issues that he could see and what was required to fix them. And, when I picked up the bike, I received a detailed confirmation of what was done. Also a good explanation of alternative tire options giving me a basis for choosing. Plus bike was done one before I said I needed it.
